Recently, BSR noise has becoming an important issue in quality evaluation of an automotive vehicle. The technology of BSR noise inspection and evaluation has been improved to develop high quality an automotive vehicle. It is important to identify noise sources for reducing noise. To identify noise sources, an acoustic camera has been widely used with beamforming technology. A panoramic acoustic camera is suitable for locating BSR noise sources in a car because the camera can cover the whole interior noise source at the same time. It is field of view field of view is 360 degrees. In this paper, we developed a panoramic digital MEMS acoustic camera for detecting BSR noise source and measuring a noise in a car. In addition to experimentally investigated about how to automatically recognize BSR noise sources using statistical analysis of the beam power data and display whether noise.
