Due to the high performance of the vehicle, the wheel may also be damaged during traveling due to impact or fatigue during traveling. The fatigue test method of the wheel currently used is roughly divided into two types. one is the Radial Fatigue Test (RFT), which tests fatigue by vertical load, and the other is Cornering Fatigue Test (CFT), which tests fatigue by rotating load. However, in the actual driving, lateral and vertical loads occur at the same time. Therefore, a bi-axial wheel test that can simulate the actual load is necessary. In this paper, we have developed a method for developing bi-axial wheel test method through road load data measurement and data analysis in Europe landscape.
