아쉬가르 파라디의 <씨민과 나데르의 별거>에 관한 연구

아쉬가르 파라디는 <시민과 나데르의 별거>를 통해 우리에게 삶에 있어서 각자가 선택하는 윤리적 선택이 각자의 순수한 윤리성에 의해 이루어지는 지를 묻고 있다. 이 작품의 인물들은 개인에서 가족, 그리고 이란이라는 더 큰 공동체의 영향 아래에 놓여있고, 각각의 인물들은 복잡하게 얽혀 있는 인간관계 속에 존재하기 때문에 그들의 윤리적 태도를 명확하게 설명하기는 점점 더 어려워진다. 또한 이러한 윤리적 입장들은 서로 충돌하며 갈등을 일으킨다. 인간 사회를 둘러싼 많은 문제를 현실주의적 관점에서 바라보면, 사회의 요구와 양심의 요청사이에 여간해서 화합되기 힘든 지속적인 모순과 갈등이 발견된다. 간단히 정치와 윤리의 갈등이라고 규정할 수 있는 모순과 갈등은 도덕 생활의 이중적 성격으로 인해 불가피하게 발생하는 것인데, 그 하나는 개인의 내면적 생활이고, 다른 하나는 사회생활의 요구인 것이다. 파라디는 <씨민과 나데르의 별거>를 통해 집단이 크면 클수록 그 집단은 전체적인 인간 집단에서 스스로를 이기적으로 표현한다는 것을 보여준다. 작품 속, 인물들의 윤리적 태도는 주변 인물들과의 인격적 접촉과 직접적 관계를 맺으며 발전해 나간다. 하지만 그들이 속한 계층과 집단으로 서로를 대할 때 그들의 삶과 삶은 유기적이지 못하고 기계적인 관계에 빠져든다. 파라디는 이처럼 다양한 윤리적 태도를 가진 인물들을 통해 모순된 규율에 의해 억압당하는 이란이라는 거대한 공동체가 처한 현실의 부조리를 역설적으로 드러내고 있다. With 〈A Separation〉, Ashgar Farhadi asked us if the ethical choices each of us made in life were made by their pure ethics. With 〈A Separation〉, Farhadi shows us The larger the group, the more selfish in the whole human group. In this film The ethical attitude of the characters develops in direct relation with personal contact with the surrounding characters. But When they treat each other as the class and group to which they belong, their lives and lives fall into a non-organic and mechanical relationship. Farhadi paradoxically reveals the absurdity of the reality of the great community of Iran, oppressed by contradictory rules through such diverse ethical attitudes.
