The goal of this study is to develop the nordic walking gymnastics using a nordic pole and disseminate the fun and easy movements to make participants understand and utilize the nordic walking properly. The nordic walking gymnastics is comprised of 11 movements including upper body exercise, lower body exercise, whole body exercise. The music of the nordic walking gymnastics is 4/4 beat and 5 minutes long, which was made at the same time with the development of gymnastic movements for the integrity of the physical and emotional effects. According to the movements, there are changes in the tempo (movement 1-3 is slightly slow, movement 4-8 gets faster, movement 9-11 gets slower), so every movement can be naturally connected to make the heartbeat slowly go up and go down again. The characteristics of nordic walking gymnastics are as follows. First, the gymnastics expressed various movements using a nordic pole and organized stable movements. Second, the effect of warm-up exercise was enhanced by repeated training. Third, the effect of flexibility and strength training were maximized with the nordic pole. Fourth, with the advice of a nordic walking specialist, the development of all the body parts required in the nordic walking was considered. Therefore, nordic walking gymnastics surely is the warm up that enhances the effect of nordic walking exercise and also, it can be used for the warm up and cool down exercise before and after a school or sports event, so we think that there is a possibility of the nordic walking gymnastics being a life gymnastics that every age can use.

        영등굿의 영감놀이를 통한 리듬융합교육 프로그램개발

The research has developed an original culture and art educational program for primary education using Younggamnori, cultural heritage of South Korea. The program consists of three-hour lessons and took place at the Ggumdarak Saturday Culture School with three lessons for three weeks. The first lesson is developed based on the nested model of Fogaty`s integrated curriculum and focused on Younggam theme. The lesson is gradually expanded by making connection among dance, arts, and music subjects and allows students to acquire various skills simultaneously. The second lesson utilizes a threaded model, focusing on Younggam theme and reflecting the diversity of each subject. The third lesson is an integrated model that combines team teaching and sub-topic learning with Younggamnori therapy. The implementation of Younggamnori into school context reveals that it is more effective to utilize integrated lessons of various subjects instead of teaching individual subjects respectively. In addition, the lessons combine pop culture in order to intrigue students to understand the traditional culture better, and as a result, students accepted the lessons without much rejection although Younggamnori is a type of Gut(Korean exorcism) and even showed higher interests in art culture. Thus, it is more required to develop education program that can lower the rejection in art culture.
