2015/16 F/W 트렌드 분석을 적용한 리넨 텍스타일 디자인 사례 연구

최근 서구식 패션 중심인 세계 4대 패션쇼의 컬렉션에서 아시아 문화를 모티프로 디자인한 텍스타일과 실루엣이 트렌드 룩으로 제시되고 있다. 이에 트렌드를 반영한 오리엔탈 스타일의 패턴 디자인으로 한국의 전통예술인 민화를 모티프로 디자인하고 이를 메탈릭 리넨(ML)에 적용하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 오리엔탈과 민화 그리고 리넨 소재의 문헌을 통한 이론적 고찰과 현대적이면서 오리엔탈 스타일에 부합하는 상업적 가치를 가진 패턴 디자인을 위해 2015/16 F/W 트렌드를 조사하였다. 이를 분석하여 오리엔탈 스타일의 조형적 특성과 최근 컬렉션 사례들을 조사하였고 디자인에 적용할 소재인 리넨의 가공 방식, 외관 등의 보고를 분석하여 ML을 패턴 디자인에 활용하기 위해 선택하였다. 본 이론적 고찰과 트렌드 분석을 바탕으로 Design CAD System인 Illustrator 6를 사용하여 총 7 가지 패턴의 텍스타일 디자인을 제안하였고 팬톤 사의 2015 Fall Trend 색를 색상으로 적용하였다. 마지막으로 패턴 디자인한 작품을 인테리어 패브릭, 패션상품 등에 매핑하여 오리엔탈 스타일의 상품들을 시뮬레이션으로 나타내었다. 현대적인 감각으로 민화를 오리엔탈 패턴디자인에 적용한 본 연구는 ML 뿐만 아니라 새로운 조합의 리넨 융합소재에도 유용하게 적용되는 오리엔탈 텍스타일 디자인 연구가 되기를 기대한다. Textile and silhouette using Asian culture as design motif have been presented to the trend-look in the fashion collection around western world these days. So, MINHWA, Korea traditional arts were used as design motif of patterns that reflected oriental style trends and then applied to linen. In this study, we reviewed literatures of Oriental, MINHWA and Linen for theoretical background and examined 2015/16 F/W trend to find commercial value that corresponded to modern and oriental style pattern design. Through the analysis, the formative characteristic of oriental style and the cases of recent collections were investigated. And metallic linen (ML) was selected to applying pattern design after the analysis of the finishing and exterior of linen of 2015/2016 F/W trend. Based on the result of study, we suggested seven kinds of pattern designs and used program is Design CAD System Illustrator 6 and applied colors are 2015 Fall Trend Color of Pantone. Lastly, these patterns were simulated on interior fabric and fashion products to oriental style products. Oriental pattern design through reinterpreting MINHWA from contemporary viewpoint will be applicable to not only metallic linen but also combination of fusion linen materials. This study is important as applying the pattern design in ML at first case study.
