To evaluate autogenous shrinkage of high-strength mass concrete more exactly, the thermal deformation according to the temperature change should be considered. And to calculate the thermal deformation, the thermal expansion coefficient (TEC) of concrete is needed. TEC of concrete is varied according to its mixture proportions and materials, and it should be really measured. And it is difficult to evaluate the TEC of concrete in early ages since its phase and microstructure changed with time. Moreover, the TEC of concrete under the high temperature history should be corrected considering the hydration rate, because the higher temperature leads the fast change of concrete phase. In the study, the TEC of high-strength concrete were calculated using small specimen with the mixture proportions. The temperature of specimen was increased quickly and the amount of expansion were measured. Then TEC of concrete was calculated with them. Finally, the calculated TEC were corrected by maturity method.
