This study provides review and improvement plans for the possible problems caused when the CV cable is used as a positive feeder line which supplies power from the DC HSCB (high-speed circuit breaker) to the catenariesin Seoul Metro which is using direct-current feeder method. In detail, this study contributes to stabilizing the power line by triggering a protective device by instantly detecting potential rise which happens when grounding fault occurs in non-grounding type CV cable shield.
교류 전기철도 급전시스템을 위한 철도용 전기품질 보상장치의 제어방법

교류 전기철도 시스템은 비선형 단상 부하인 차량의 부하특성으로 인해 고조파 왜곡, 무효전력 발생, 3상 불평형과 같은 전기품질 문제를 가지고 있다. 이 같은 전기품질 문제는 철도 시스템뿐만 아니라 철도와 연계된 다른 건전한 계통에도 악영향을 미치게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 전기철도 급전시스템의 전기품질 문제를 보상하기 위해 철도용 전기품질 보상장치(RPQC; railway power quality conditioner)를 적용하고, SRF(synchronous-reference-frame) 제어를 이용한 RPQC의 제어방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 제어방법을 통해 RPQC는 고조파 왜곡, 무효전력, 부하 불평형과 같은 전기품질 문제를 순시적으로 보상할 수 있으며, 시뮬레이션을 통해 이를 검증한다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 제안한 RPQC 제어방법의 타당성을 보여주고 있다. The AC electrified railway systems have the power quality problems such as the harmonic distortion, the reactive power and the three-phase imbalance because of the electrical load characteristics of locomotives, which are non-linear single-phase. These power quality problems have a bad effect on not only AC electrified railway systems but also other electric systems connected together. The RPQC (railway power quality conditioner) can compensate such power quality problems in the AC electrified railway systems. In this paper, a novel RPQC control method based on SRF (synchronous-reference-frame) control is proposed. The proposed RPQC control method can compensate effectively the harmonic currents, the reactive power and the load imbalance. The validity and the effectiveness of the proposed RPQC control method are illustrated through the simulations.
PR 제어기를 이용한 3상 4선식 인버터 Neutral Leg 제어 방법

In 3-phase 4-wire inverter, the unbalanced loads cause to increase the neutral current which brings the voltage deviation between the split dc-link capacitors to be larger. In order to solve this problem, a neutral leg is provided additively to the ordinary inverter circuit and the associated control methods are devised. This paper proposes a new neutral-leg controller based on a PR controller and shows relatively good performance even under unbalanced linear loads and nonlinear loads. The proposed control strategy illustrates its effectiveness under the various operating conditions through simulation works.

NS 선로전환기는 1960년대부터 현재까지 국내·외 철도현장(지상부 및 터널)에서 사용 중인 철도신호의 주요장치이다. 이러한 선로전환기의 전기적인 회로를 구성하고 있는 배선세트는 최근 전자·첨단화 되고 있는 연동장치의 기술발전과 함께 최적의 인터페이스 상태를 유지 하여야 한다. 하지만 기존 NS 계열의 선로전환기 내부장치(배선세트, 회로제어기 및 제어계전기 접속부분)는 접속부의 구조적 결함과 유지보수가 곤란하여 선로전환기를 정상 동작시킬 수 없는 장애가 종종 발생한다. 위와 같은 장애로 인한 고장조치 시간은 곧 정상적인 열차소통에 지장을 줌으로 이에 대한 개선의 필요성이 제기되었다. NS points is a critical equipment being used in the worldwide railway signal field from 1960’s to until now. (above-ground and tunnels). Wiring sets that make up the electrical circuit of this points diverter should be maintained in the best interface condition in accordance with the interlocking device’s latest electronization and modernization. But the structural defect of the connection and difficulty of maintenance in internal devices(wiring harness, the circuit controller and a control relay connected part) of NS points make caused failure that can not be normal behavior often occurs. Maintenance time due to the above disorders was soon raised the need for improvements to interfere with normal traffic.
직류링크 전류를 이용한 인터리브드 양방향 컨버터의 상전류 불균형 보상 방법

This paper presents a compensation method of unbalanced phase currents in interleaved bi-directional converters. Phase currents in interleaved bi-directional converter are apt to be unbalanced due to circuit parameter error and switch operation difference. This problem causes the switch element failure and the reduced efficiency of the converter. Therefore, it is necessary that a certain balance control algorithm is provided in interleaved bi-directional converter system. In this paper, a balance control algorithm based on the circular chain control method is proposed. Further, in order to reduce the number of phase current sensors, this paper shows a simple method in which phase currents can be extracted indirectly through a DC-link current sensor in both charging and discharging modes. The validity and the effectiveness of the proposed phase currents balance control algorithm are illustrated through the simulation results.
낮은 스위칭 주파수로 구동되는 유도전동기의 모델예측토크제어

When medium and large induction motors are driven by 2-level inverters with low switching frequency, induction motors provoke deteriorated performances resulted from large torque ripples, flux ripples, and large current distortion. Model predictive torque control(MPTC) for a fast torque control of induction motors is also suffered from large torque ripples when the induction motors are fed by 2-level inverters that are based on 6 active voltage vectors with low switching frequency restricted. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a new MPTC method based on both a 12 active voltage vector and an optimized duty ratio calculation. The proposed control strategy illustrates its effectiveness under the various operating conditions through simulation works.
