Dental practice can produce and spread some infectious diseases from patients to dentist, dental assistant, and dental labors. One possible method for preventing these cross-contamination is to immerse dental impression in chemical disinfectants. So for many investigators studied on the dimensional changes of dental impressions and on the surface qualities of stone casts made from impression following immersion in disinfectants. This study was proposed to evaluate some popular impression disinfectant combination from the point of dimensional stability. Impression was taken from dental arch-shaped metal model. Irreversible hydrocolloid and 3 elastomers(polyvinyl siloxane, polysulfide, polyether) were immersed in 3 disinfectants (2% glutaraldehyde, 1% povidone-iodine, 0.5% sodium hypochlorite) for 10 minutes and measured both cross-arch and anterior-posterior distance under stereo microscope to evaluate dimensional change. The results obtained were as follows: 1. Dimensional changes of irreversible hydrocolloid impression was statistically different in cross-arch and anterior-posterior distance when immersed in 2% glutaraldehyde solution and in anterior-posterior distance when immersed in 0.5% sodium hypochlorite solution from control group (p<0.05). 2. Dimensional changes of polyvinyl siloxane and polysulfide impression were not statistically different from control group (p>0.05). 3. Dimensional changes of polyether impression was statistically different in cross-arch distance when immersed in 0.5% sodium hypochlorite solution and in anterior-posterior distance when immersed in 1% povidone-iodine solution from control group (p<0.05). 4. In all cases, dimensional changes were less than 0.1% from the original dimension and concluded clinically acceptable.

Nios II 코어에 기반한 하드웨어 가속기를 checksum과 residue checking 알고리즘을 대상으로 하여 HDL 코딩으로 해당 하드웨어를 구현하는 component 방식, 프로세서 명령어세트 확장에 의한 custom instruction 방식과 C2H 컴파일러로 해당 로직을 자동 생성하는 C2H 방식으로 구현하고, 실행 결과를 분석 및 비교한다. 비교 결과 실행 소요시간 기준의 경우 C2H 방식 구현이 최단시간 수행을, 그리고 하드웨어 추가 소요량 기준의 경우 custom instruction 방식 구현이 최소의 하드웨어를 추가로 사용함을 확인한다. Checksum and residue checking accelerators were implemented on a Nios II core-based platform according to component method, in which the corresponding hardware was implemented with HDL coding, a custom instruction method, in which the instruction set of the processor was extended, and the C2H method, in which the corresponding logic was automatically created by the C2H compiler. The processing results from each accelerator for each algorithm were then examined and compared. The results of the comparison showed that the accelerator implemented with the C2H method is the fastest in terms of the execution time, and the accelerator with custom instruction requires the least add-on from the viewpoint of add-on hardware.
선형어레이상에서 알고리즘 기반 결함허용 선형시스템 해석기

본 논문은 체크썸 벡터(checksum vector)를 이용한 결함허용 선형시스템 해석방식에 대하여 기술한다. 병행 오류검출방식으로 오류는 발생 즉시 검출된다. 제안된 방식은, 배열구조의 기본성질을 유지하면서, 선형배열구조에서 구현하였고 그 복잡도를 해석하였다. A method to achieve fault tolerance by applying the checksum vector for the linear systems solver is proposed. The method detects error as soon as it occurs by conducting the error detection concurrently. The method is implemented on linear array without breaking the basic properties of the array structure, and then the complexities are analyzed.

A total of 1, 205 employees (male 683, female 206) of three companies located in Masan Free Export Zone were tested for HBs Ag by RPHA (Reverse passive hemagglutination) method and anti-HBs by PHA (Passive hemagglutination) method during the period from October the lst, 1989 to March 30th, 1990. The results of immune response rate after vaccinated 200 employees who indicated negative markers of HBs Ag and anti -HBs followed. The relations between HBe Ag and Anti-HBe makers conversion of 72 HBs Ag positive individuals and the value of transaminase were investigated. These results indicated that the percentage of positive HBs Ag was 6. 22% and anti-HBs was 18.76%. The immune response rate to the vaccination of 200 employees showed 94%. Positive rate HBe Ag of the 75 HBs Ag positive individuals was 37. 33% and that of anti-HBe was 29.34%. The highest positive rate of anti-HBe was on the 30-39 age group marking 44.44%. The markers conversion rate of HBe Ag and anti --HBe of the 72 HBs Ag positive individuals showed 36.11%. The results of markers seroconversion, in HBs-Ag positive cases proved to be HBe Ag negative 25.93% anti-HBe positive cases proved to be anti-HBe negative 66.67%. HBe Ag negative individuals and anti-HBe positive individuals were normal level of serum transaminase, but 33. 33% of the 27 H Be Ag positive individuals were abnormally high level of AST (Aspartate amino transferase) and 55. 56% of that individuals were abnormally high level of AL T (Alanine amino transferase).
