1. The incidence of large babies weighing 4000gm or more was 6.93% of the total deliveries. Babies weighing 4500 gm or more made up 0.89% of the total. 2. More large babies are born by multipara (75.4%) than by primipara (24.6%). 3. 41% of the cases of large babies were born between 41 and 42 weeks of gestation and 46.2% of the cases of large babies were born earlier than 41 weeks of gestation. 4. The majority of the cases of large babies were found in mothers aged either 25-29 (34.6%) or 30-34 (30.5%) 5. Among large babies, male infant are more common than females in a ratio of 174:100. The largest baby in this series was also a male weighing 6000 gm 6. The incidence of C-section was higher 7. The incidence of toxemia was higher 8. The incidence of immediate postpartum hemorrhage was 5.89%. The routine oxytocin intravenous infusion has been instituted effectively. 9. An Apgar score of 7 or more was found in 96.9% of large babies. 10. Only one case of twin was delivered.

제왕절개수술로 분만한 일란성쌍태아 중 제이아가 무심장, 무두, 무상지이고 그 체중이 4,200gm이나 되는 거대하고 희유한 기형아 1예를 경험하였기에 이를 보고하고 간단한 그의 문헌적 고찰을 하였다. A case of Holoacardiac acephalic monster associsted with single ovum twin was presented. This monster was born by cesarean section, its weight was about 4,200 gm. And review of literatures was made briefly.
