This paper presents real time digital signal processor(DSP) control of UPS system feeding nonlinear loads to provide sinusoidal inverter output voltage The control scheme is composed of an voltage compensator, the load current harmonics feed-forward loop for the cancellation of output voltage harmonics, and the output voltage harmonics feedback loop for system stability, The controller employs a Texas Instruments TMS320C40GFL50 DSP.

To achieve high efficiency in high power and high frequency applications, reduction of switching losses and noise is very important In this paper, an improved zero voltage switching forward dc/dc converter is proposed. The proposed converter is constructed by using energy recovery snubbers in parallel with the main switches and output diodes of the conventional forward dc/dc converter. Due to the use of the energy recovery snubbers in the primary and secondary side, the proposed converter achieves zero-voltage-switching turn-off without switching losses for switching devices and output rectification diodes. The complete operating principles and experimental results will be presented.

The linear control of DC Link voltage in PWM inverter is very importent to estimate the goodness of PWM method. In motor control system, for the maximum torque on full region operating, the whole of DC Link voltage region must be used, 3 Phase sinusoidal PWM inverter has a low efficiency at the using of output voltage. According to make better the efficiency, new improved PWM control method is proposed. The results of experimentation and simulation included to verify the validity of this method.
