        치어기 넙치 사료내 Seleno-yeast 수준에 따른 조직학적 변화

        This study was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary seleno-yeast on histological response in juvenile olive flounder Paralichthys olivaceus. Fish averaging 4.0±0.1g (mean±SD) were fed one of the four semi-purified diets containing 0.56, 1.07, 2.86 and 4.56mg Selenoyeast/kg diet (Se0.56, Se1.07, Se2.86 and Se4.56, respectively) in triplicates for 12weeks. Swelling of blood cell in glomerulus, the rupture of some epithelial cell in the renal tubules and enlarged macrophage were observed in the Se1.07group. The hepatopancreas had hepatic cell, capillary and zymogen in the pancreas and was normal in the Se0.56 group. Swelling of hepatocyte gradually decreased with increase in selenoyeast supplementation. The gill lamellae showed partial abnormal condition (terminal clubbing) in the Se0.56group, but there were little differences between these and other treatments. These results indicated that the optimum dietary supplementation level of selenoyeast in juvenile olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus, could be less than 1.07mg selenoyeast/kg diet based on histological responses of the fish.

        치어기 조피볼락에 있어 사료내 어분대체품의 이용 가능성

        이 연구는 16주 동안 치어기 조피볼락 사료에 있어서 어분단백질에 대한 어분대체품의 이용 가능성을 결정하고자 실시하였다. 어분대체품 (FMA)은 혈분 (BM), 오징어간분 (SLP), 육골분(MBM), 수지박 (LM), 가금부산물 (PBP) 및 우모분 (FM)등으로 제작$\cdot$사용하였고, 필수아민노산 (EAA) 중 2가지 (Methionine& Lysine)를 첨가하여 사용하였다. 5가지의 실험사료는 조단백질 $50\%$로, 가용성 에너지 15.6KJ/g으로 조정하였다. 실험사료는 조단백질을 기준으로 어분단백질과 어분대체품 비율을 다음과 같이 요약하였다 :사료 1, $100\%$ WFM: 사료 2, $87.5\%$ WFM : $12.5\%$ FMA, 사료 3, $75\%$ WFM : $25\%$ FMA;사료 4, $75\%$ WFM : $25\%$ FMA+2 EAAs; 사료 5, $50\%$ WFM : $50\%$ FMA+2 EAAs (Methionine& Lysine). 증체율, 사료효율, 일간성장률 및 단백질 전환효율에 있어서 사료 2 ($12.5\%$ FMA)는 사료 1 (대조구)에 비해 유의적인 차이가 없었지만 (P>0.05), 나머지 사료구들은 대조구에 비해 유의적으로 낮게 나타났다 (P>0.05). 필수아미노산을 첨가한 사료 3 ($25\%$ FMA)과 사료 4($25\%$ FMA+2EAAs)의 두 사료구간에서는 사료구 4가 유의적으로 높은 경향을 보였다(P<0.05). 따라서, 치어기 조피볼락에 있어서 필수아미노산 첨가없이 어분단 백질을 복합 어분대체품 (FMA)으로 $12.5\%$ 정도 대체 가능함을 알 수 있었고, 2개의 필수아미노산의 첨가는 어분대체품에 사용되었을 경우에는 어느 정도 효과가 나타났다. A 16-week feeding trial was conducted to determine the amount of fish meal analogue (FMA) that can be replacing white fish meal (WFM) protein in Korean rockfish. Five experimental diets were formulated on isonitrogenous and isocaloric basis of $50\%$ crude protein and 15.6 KJ/g diet. The graded level of replacement of PM by Em on the basis of crude protein were as follows : Diet 1($100\%$ WFM), Diet 2($87.5\%$ WFM : $12.5\%$ FMA), Diet 3 ($75\%$ WFM : $25\%$ FMA), Diet 4($75\%$ WFM : $25\%$ FMA+2 EAAs), Diet 5 ($50\%$ WFM : $50\%$ FMA+2 EAAs). Methionine and Iysine were selected for 2 essential amino acids (EAA) to study the effect of adding EAA to the diets 4 and 5. Weight gain (WG), feed fed efficiency (FE) and protein efficiency ratio (PER) of fish fed diet 3, 4 and 5 were significantly lower (P< 0.05) than those of fish fed the control ($100\%$ WFM),while that of fish fed diet 2 was not significantly different diet(P>0.05) from those of fish fed the control diet. WG, FE and PER of fish fed diet 4 were significantly higher (P<0.05) than those of fish fed diet 3, but lower than those of fish fed the control diet. Therefore, these results indicated that FMA protein could substitute WFM protein up to $12.5\%$ without 2 EAAs supplementation in Korean rockfish. And, dietary supplementation of 2 EAAs could be benetficial when FMA is utilized as a fish meal replacer in juvenile Korean rockfish.

        무지개송어 사료에 있어 산화크롬의 첨가효과와 축산 가공 부산혼합물의 어분대체 가능성

        본 연구는 무지개송어 사료의 어분 대체사료원으로서 육골분(MBM), 우모분(FM), 오징어내장분 (SLP), 가금부산물 (PBP) 및 혈분 (BM)을 특정비율로 혼합하여 제조한 어분대체품(ABPM)을 제작하여 사료내 어분의 대체가능성을 조사하고 사료내 소화율 측정에 이용하는 지표물질인 $Cr_2O_3$ 첨가가 성장에 미치는 영향에 관한 자료를 얻고자 실시하였다. 본 실험사료의 주단백질원으로는 동물성단백 질원으로 북양어분 (White fish meal, WFM)과 축산가공부 산혼합물 (ABPM)을 식물성으로 대두박과 콘글루텐밀을 사용하였다. 사료 1과 사료 2의 사료는 National Research Council(NRC, 1993)자료에 근거하여 조단백질 함량은 $46.5\%$, 가용성 에너지는 16.7 KJ/g (protein, carbohydrate and lipid: 16.7, 16.7 and 37.7 KJ/g)으로 동일하게 맞추어 주었다. 실험사료는 사료 1 (WFM 100), 사료2(ABPM 40), 사료3(상업사료(-Cr)), 사료 4(상업사료+$0.5\%$ $Cr_2O_3$(+Cr))로 4가지를 사용하였다. 일주일간의 예비사육 후 평균무게 2.1g$\pm$0.2인 치어를 30마리씩 3반복으로 무작위 배치하여 4주간 사육한후, 성장속도가 비슷한 평균무게 6.8$\pm$0.3g의 어류를 동일한 사료군내에서 선택하여 20마리씩 2 반복 재배치하여 4주간 사육하였다. 8 주간 사료 공급후 사료 2는 다른 모든 사료구에 비해 증체율 (WG, $\%$)과 사료효율 (FE, $\%$)이 유의적으로 낮았다 (P<0.05). 어체의 혈액분석결과 헤마토크리트t는 전사료구간에 유의차가 없었다 (P>0.05). 전어체 일반성분 분석 결과 수분 및 조단백질 함량은 모든 사료구간에 유의적 차이가 없었으나 (P>0.05), 사료 1의 조지방 함량은 다른 사료구에 비해 유의적으로 높았다 (P<0.05). 어체의 비만도는 사료 2가 다른 사료구에 비해 유의적으로 높았다 (P<0.05). 혈액, 뼈 및 전어체의 인 함량 및 뼈의 회분 함량은 모든 사료구간에 유의적인 차이가 없었다 (P>0.05). 상업사료내 산화크롬을 첨가하거나 혹은 첨가하지 않고 8주간 사육한 결과 산화크롬 $0.5\%$의 8주간 첨가는 성장에 영향을 주지 않았을 뿐 아니라 전어체의 일반성분, 혈장 및 뼈 조직 중의 인과 회분 함량에도 영향을 주지 않았다. 본 실험 결과, 무지개 송어 사료내 어분단백질 대체원으로 본축산가공부산혼합물의 이용은 $40\%$ 수준 이하에서 가능하다고 판단되고 산화크롬은 성장 및 전어체의 일반성분에 영향을 주지 않았으므로 사료내 영양소의 소화율 측정에 $0.5\%$ 의 산화크롬 첨가는 별다른 문제가 없음을 보여주었다. This study was conducted to evaluate the utilization of animal by-product mixture (ABPM) as a dietary animal protein source of fish meal replacer, and to determine the effect of dietary chromic oxide in growing rainbow trout, Oncorhynchus mykiss. ABPM is a mixture of five anmial by-products such as meat and bone meal (MBM) feather meal (FM), squid live, powder(SLP), poultry by-product (PBP) and blood- meal (BM) at a specific weight based ratio. Diet 1 and 2 were formulated on a isonitrogenous and a isocaloric basis of $46.5\%$ crude protein and 16.7 KJ/g diet; diet 1 (WFM 100), $100\%$ of the animal protein source came from white fish meal; diet 2 (ABPM 40), $60\%$ WFM+$40\%$ ABPM as the animal protein source; diet 3 (-Cr) commercial diet without chromic oxide; diet 4 (+Cr), commercial diet with chromic oxide. After eight weeks of feeding trials, fish fed diet 2 had a significantly lower body weight gain (WG) and feed efficiency (FE) than that of fish fed the other diets (P<0.05). When comparing diet 3 with diet 4, no significant differences were found in WG and FE (P>0.05). There were no significant differences on condition factor, hematocrit level, serum phosphorus, bone phosphorus, whole body phosphorus, and bone ash among fish from all four diet groups. Fish fed diet 4 had a significantly higher whole body lipid than that of fish fed the other diets (P<0.05), These results indicated that ABPM could be used less than $40\%$ in growing rainbow trout with a sufficient period of acclimation, In addition, the $0.5\%$ of chromic oxide can be used to determine the apparent digestibility of the nutrients in the feed without any adverse effects on growth and body composition.

        치어기 황복(Takifugu obscurus) 사료 내 적정 지질 함량

        This study was conducted to evaluate the optimum dietary lipid level in juvenile river puffer. Five semi-purified diets were formulated with corn oil to contain graded levels of lipid levels of 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18%. Fish averaging 8.32±0.02 g randomly were fed the experimental diets in triplicate groups for 8 weeks. After the 8-weeks feeding trial, weight gain and specific growth rate of fish fed the 9% diet were significantly higher than those of fish fed the 15 and 18% diets (P<0.05) but there was not significantly different from that of fish fed the 6, 9 and 12% diets. Feed efficiency and protein efficiency ratio of fish fed the 6, 9 and 12% diets were significantly higher than those of fish fed the 18% diet (P<0.05). Visceralsomatic index of fish fed 18% diet was significantly higher than that of fish fed the 6% diet (P <0.05) but there was not significantly different from that of fish fed the 9, 12, 15 and 18% diets. No significant differences were observed in condition factor, hepatosomatic index and whole body composition among all the fish groups. Serum cholesterol and triglyceride fish fed of 18% diet were significantly higher than that of fish fed the other diets (P<0.05). Optimum dietary lipid levels by using broken-line model and by using second order polynomial were estimated at 7.01% and 8.98% for the maximum growth of fish respectively. Therefore, these results suggested that the optimum dietary lipid level could be greater than 7.01% but less than 8.98% for the maximum growth in juvenile river puffer.

        치어기 황복(Takifugu obscurus) 사료 내 에너지에 대한 적정 단백질 비 평가

        This study was conducted to estimate the optimum dietary protein to energy (P/E) ratio in juvenile river puffer. Nine experimental diets were formulated with three energy levels and three protein levels at each energy levels. Three energy levels of 3000, 3750 and 4500 kcal diets were included at 45, 50 and 55% crude protein (CP) levels, respectively (45P3000, 45P3750, 45P4500, 50P3000, 50P3750, 50P4500, 55P3000, 55P3750 and 55P4500). Fish averaging 3.43±0.02 g randomly were fed the experimental diets in triplicate groups for 8 weeks. Weight gain of fish fed the 50P4500 diet were significantly higher than that of fish fed the 45P3000, 45P3750, 45P4500, 50P3000 and 50P3750 diets (P<0.05), but there was not significantly different from that of fish fed the 50P4500, 55P3750 and 55P4500 diets. Feed efficiency of fish fed the 50P4500 diet were significantly higher than that of fish fed the 45P3000, 45P3750, 45P4500, 50P3000 and 50P3750 diets (P<0.05), but there was not significantly different from that of fish fed the 50P4500, 55P3000, 55P3750 and 55P4500 diets. Protein efficiency ratio of fish fed the 45P3000 and 45P3750 diets was higher than that of fish fed 50P4500 and 55P4500, but there was not significantly different from that of fish fed the 45P3000, 45P3750, 45P4500, 50P3000, 50P3750, 55P3000 and 55P3750 diets. Based on weight gain, feed efficiency and specific growth rate, diets containing energy levels 4500kcal/kg diet had an optimum P/E ratio of approximately 111 mg protein/kcal (50% crude protein) in juvenile river puffer.
