      • 고정성 치과보철물 제작시 작업모형, 작업시간, 기공료에 대한 치과기공사의 인식 조사

        The purpose of this study is recognition of Dental Lab. fixed restoration technician about working model, appointment time, labratory cost, cooperation. In order to accomplish this purpose, the researcher was conducted for thirty dental lab. metal part crown bridge, porcelain part technician in Kwangju, Chun nam using a questionnaire method. Results indicated the following. 1. The fixed working model received that i t were not sufficiently adequate for the respondents t o complete their best work. 2. Dentists were appeared that required a minimum of appointment time t o fixed dental lab. Technician. 3. The cost of fixed dental laboratory procedure were appeared very low. 4. The cooperation was lack between the dentists and the dental lab. Technicians.

      • 주임선의 형태와 용융기전이 Nickel-Chromium 합금의 다공성에 미치는 영향

        Using 3 sort of sprue design, 2 sort of heat source and nickel-chromium alloy, sample of total 36 were constructed, The result of experimental was researched on casting porosity on metal alloy according to the sort of sprue design and that heat source. The results were as follows : 1. The largest volume of casting porosity was direct sprue (closed type), the nest was runner bur type and were type. 2. The influence on casting porosity of sprue design was greater than heat source. 3. When the type of heat source were used oxygen-acetylene and induction method, the volume of casting porosity was little difference.

      • 燒還溫度와 再 鑄造金屬 含量比가 Ni-Cr系 非貴金屬 合金의 可鑄性에 미치는 影響

        The castability of base metal alloys for dental casting is influenced by burn-out temperature and recast percentage. Burn-out temperatures for casting are set at 200℉ interval from 1000℉ to 1800℉. According to recast metal percent in new cast alloy, metal alloys are tested. The results are as follows: 1. In the new alloy (100%), the castability is the most. 2. In the burn-out temperature in 1600-1800℉, castability of 100% new alloy was more four times than of 50% new alloy plus 50% recast alloy. The using of 50% new alloy and 50% recast alloy, therefore, was unlike in cast ability. 3. The burn-out temperature in 1600℉, castability of 100% new alloy was more than four times in soaking 20 minutes, but there was no any difference at 1800℉. 4. It is investigated that the optimal burn-out temperature is 1600℉ for the C & B alloy.

        열간압연에 의한 Ti-Nb계 합금의 미세조직 및 내식성에 대한 연구

        Pure titanium and Ti6Al4V alloy have been mainly used as implant materials but the cytotoxicity of V, neurotoxicity of Al resulting in Alzheimer disease had been reported. This paper was described the influence of composition of Ti-Nb alloys with 3 wt%Nb, 20 wt%Nb on the microstructure and corrosion resistance. Specimens of Ti alloys were melted in vacuum arc furnace and homogenized at $1000^{\circ}C$ for 24hr. The alloys were rolled in $\beta$ and ${\alpha}+{\beta}$ regions. The corrosion resistance of Ti alloys were evaluated by potentiodymic polarization test in 0.9% NaCl and 5% HCl solutions. The results can be summarized as follows: 1. The microstructure was transformed from $\alpha$ phase to ${\alpha}+{\beta}$ phase by adding Nb 2. The hardness of Ti-20Nb alloy was greater than Cp- Ti, Ti-3Nb alloy. 3. The corrosion resistance of Ti-20Nb alloy was better than that of Cp-Ti, Ti-3Nb alloy in 0.9%NaCl and 5%HCl solutions.

In order t o accomplish this purpose, t h e researcher was conducted for thirty dental lab. porcelain technician in Kwang j u , Chun nam usirg a questionnaire methed. Results indicated the following. 1. The porcelain working model received that it were not sufficiently adequate for the respondents t o complete their best work. 2. The work authorization appeared a general lack of adequate information. 3. The respondents appeared that they were necessary a communication between the dentists and the Lab. technicians.

      • Heat cured resin 重合時 方法에 따라 氣泡生成에 미치는 影響

        The quality of denture base is influenced by the number and size of porosity on the heat-cured resin. The appearance of porosity is tested through the variable reaction temperature and time. The result are as following: 1. There is not appeared porosity on the heat-cured resin block which is polymerized at constant 70℃ for 9 hours. 2. After the reaction goes on for 90 minutes at at constant 70˚C, the reaction temperature goes gradually up to the boiling state and boiled it for 30 minutes. The porosity on. the heat-cured resin block does not appeared in the range 1.5 to 13.5㎜ of the thickness, but does appeared the porosity in size of 0.32㎜ and greater at the thickness of 15㎜ and greater of heat-cured resin block. 3. The porosity does not appeared in up to 13.5㎜ of the thickness of heat-cured resin block, but does appeared at 15㎜ and greater in thickness where the size of porosity is 1.34㎜ and greater, which is reacted at the temperature range from 25℃ to 100℃ for 120 minutes and boiling for 15 minutes at 100℃. 4. It is investigated that the porosity depends on the reaction temperature and thickness of heat-cured resin block. There is, particulary, no great difference in porosity making up to 13.5㎜ in thickness, but is great difference in the thickness of 15㎜ and the greater.

        Ti-Nb계 합금의 세포독성에 관한 연구

        The use of titanium alloys as biomaterials is increasing due to their superior biocompatibility andenhanced corrosion resistance compared to conventional stainless steels and cobalt-based alloys.Ti-6Al-4V (+type) alloy instead of pure titanium (type) is being widely used as biomaterialshas some characteristics such as high fatigue strength, tensile strength and corrosion resistance. Italso has similar characteristics to Ti in inducing bony ingrowth. But it has been reported recentlythat the vanadium element expresses cytotoxicity and carcinogenicity and the aluminium element isrelated with dementia of Alzheimer type and neurotoxicity. In order to overcome their detrimentaleffects, -phase stabilizer Nb was chosen in the present study. CP-Ti(ASTM grade 2), Ti-3wt.%Nb(type), Ti-20wt.%Nb (+type) and Ti-40 wt.%Nb(type)alloys were melted by vacuum arc furnace. Biocompatibility of Ti-Nb alloys was evaluated bycytotoxicity test.The results can be summarized as follows:1. For the cytotoxicity test, Ti-Nb alloys showed excellent biocompatibility compared to CPTi(ASTM grade 2), 316L STS and Co-Cr alloys.

        Ti-Nb계 합금의 상변화가 기계적 성질에 미치는 영향

        The use of titanium alloys as biomaterials is increasing due to their superior biocompatibility and enhanced corrosion resistance compared to conventional stainless steels and cobalt-based alloys. Ti-6Al-4V (α + β type) alloy instead of pure titanium ( type) is being widely used as biomaterials has some characteristics such as high fatigue strength, tensile strength and corrosion resistance. But it has been reported recently that the vanadium element expresses cytotoxicity and the aluminium element is related with dementia of Alzheimer type and neurotoxicity. In order to overcome their detrimental effects, β-phase stabilizer Nb was chosen in the present study. This paper was described the influence of phase changes of Ti-Nb alloys on mechanical properties. Ti-3wt.%Nb( α type),Ti-20wt.%Nb( α+ β type) and Ti-40wt.%Nb( β type) alloys were melted by vacuum arc furnace. The specimens were homogenized at 1050℃ for 24hr and were then hot rolled to 50% reduction. Each alloys were solution heat treated at β zone and α+ β zone after homogenization and then were aged. The mechanical properties of Ti alloys were analysed by hardness test, tensile test, elongation test and SEM test. The results can be summarized as follows: 1) The higher hardness value of α+ β type alloy was obtained compared to the α, β type alloys. 2) The aged treated showed better hardness compared to the solution heat treated, homogenized. 3) In the case of solution and aging treatment at β region, the α+ β type alloy showed the most highest tensile strength and β type alloy showed the best elongation.
