This paper summarizes the requirements for road users and various types of communication protocols to be able to be used in ITS, which include wireless/wired/mobile communication protocols. An integrated architecture for those communication protocols is proposed to use data efficiently, which are transmitted from various types of bearers.

In this paper, research on the integration of safety and security in industrial systems, such as robots, automobiles, industrial automation systems, medical devices, and CPS(Cyber Physical System), has been reviewed and analyzed. Security issues are shown to affect the safety and performance in various industrial systems, and studies on integration of security and safety have been performed to solve this problem. In the field of robots, research related to security issues has been being performed but the types of security issues considered are very limited. This paper presents the vulnerabilities for cyber-attacks that can occur in robots by using examples, and the security countermeasures for these vulnerabilities are presented using the security requirements suggested by IEC 62443. Examples are presented to show that safety-related problems may occur even if some or all of these security requirements are satisfied in safety-related control devices. As methods to mitigate the safety and/or security countermeasures must also be taken very carefully, this paper presents an integrated risk assessment method for processing the safety and/or security issues and developing their proper countermeasures.
BT(Bluetooth) IP에서의 핸드오프 지원 방안

In this paper, we propose handoff scheme for BT(Bluetooth) IP and define signaling for the handoff scheme. In local area, BT IP use the concept of Cellular IP and the operation property of Bluetooth system. In case of accessing external internet, use the concept of Mobile IP. IP-based Mobility of Blutooth Terminal provides efficient and rapid mobility in local area and flexibility on the internet.

This paper analyzes the performance of the several types of ACL(Asynchronous ConnectionLess) packets used in Bluetooth according to a BER(Bit Error Rate) and a packet length and proposes an optimal packet type and an optimal size of the packet being able to be used under the given BER. This paper proposes how to obtain the optimal packet type and the optimal size of the packet maximizing the performance measure under the given BER. In addition, this paper shows that the optimal type and size of the packet maximizing the throughput are different from those maximizing the mean transmission time. This occurs because the Bluetooth uses not only one type of packet bet also various types of packets.
