Many Automotive interior/exterior parts have been developed by the Quality Improvement and Cost Savings through the injection molding analysis S/W However, Hybrid FEM (Front End Module) Carrier has the difficulty of simplifying Plastic & Steel structure in injection molding analysis. Due to this difficulty, most of numerical analysis for Hybrid FEM Carrier has been analyzed excluding steel parts, it causes significant errors for the results. In this study, we have been analyzing various models in order to examine the difference of analysis results such as flow pattern, weld line, and degree of deflection. As a result, 3-different models had no differences in Flow analysis, but there were a lot of differences in Warpage analysis. Compared with real molded FEM Carrier, full model including steel part showed similar results as real FEM Carrier. In order to obtain the accurate analysis result, it is desired that steel part also should be considered.
