박창헌 제주한라대학 1989 論文集 Vol.13 No.-

Author practiced blood culture of fever of unknown original patients of in and out-patient for recent three years from the beginning of 1987 to the end of 1989 at Seoul K Hospital. Species identification of microorganism, isolation frequency, rate, monthly and seasonal variation, of each species were studies, and antibiotic susceptibillity test of each strains were evaluated. The results are summarized as follows : 1. 485 species (8.25%) were isolated among 5,882 cases of blood cultures. Isolated species were variable and composed of 16 strains. 2. Among strains isolated, Salmonella group “D” was the most frequent organism (152 case; 31.34%). The others were Salmonella group “A”, E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, in others. 3. Among Salmonella strains, group “D” was most frequently isolated in summer and group “A” was in January and July, respectively. 4. In summer season, microorganisms are most frequently isolated. 5. On antibiotic sensitivity test, most of Salmonella group “D” and “A” were sensitive to CM, GM, AN, CF, KM, TE & AM. Staphylococcus aureus were sensitive to CM and GM, and resistant to AM, P, TE, CF, and EM. Most of E. coli strains were sensitive to GM, AN and CF.

朴昌憲 제주한라대학 1988 論文集 Vol.12 No.-

Increased incidence of nosocomial opportunistic infections and infections due to antimicrobial resistant bacteria have been reported in recent years. Frequently isolated bacterial species may differ depending on the characteristics of hospital. The pattern of antimicrobial susceptibility may also differ depending on the usage of antimicrobial agents. In this study, pus culture results at the National Police Hospital, during January 1985 to December 1988 were analyzed. Also analyzed were the results of antimicrobial susceptibility tests. The following results were obtained. 1. Among the 761 isolates, 44.3 % were gram-positive bacteria and 55.7 % gram-negative bacilli. S. aureus was the most frequently isolated gram-positive bacteria (30.4 %) and Enterobacter Cloaceae the most frequently isolated gram-negative bacilli (11.4 %). 2. Slightly higher annual rate of isolation was noted for Enterobacter Cloaceae in 1987 and for S. aureus and Proteus mirabillis in 1988. 3. S. aureus showed the lowest isolation rate in September-October, and Enterobacter cloaceae the highest rate in May-Jun. 4. S. aureus was mare frequently isolated from outpatients and of E. cloaceae from inpatients. 5. Most of the S.aureus isolates were susceptible to cephalothin (84.0 %) and methicillin (76 %). 6. Most of the Enterobacteriaceae isolated were susceptible to amikacin, gentamycin, kanamycin, while many of them were resistant to ampicillin and tetracycline. 7. Only 39 % and 47 % of Pseudomonas isolate were susceptible to gentamicin and tobramycin.
