The purpose of this study was to reveal an association between ego-resilience and psychological well-being on subjective oral health status. Psychological well-being was composed of self-acceptance, positive relations with others, autonomy, environmental mastery, purpose in life, and personal growth. It was anticipated that these factors would have an effect on subjective oral health status. Some 200 college students in Busan, Ulsan and Kyungnam participated in this study. Data was analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 23.0 program. In conclusion, we obtained the following results. First, the mean of ego-resilience was 2.66 out of 5. The mean of psychological well-being was 3.32 out of 5. In terms of sub-domains, positive relations with others (3.63) scored highest, followed by purpose in life (3.39), personal growth (3.36) and environmental mastery (3.28). Secondly, the influencing factors in subjective oral health status were ego-resilience (β=.215), ad-justed R2=.042. Thirdly, the influencing factors in subjective oral health status were self-acceptance (β=.093), adjusted R2=.055. According to the results, ego-resilience and self-acceptance are ef-fective in increasing subjective oral health status.
