북한 음악교육과 연변 음악교육의 발전상황: 북한의 사회주의 건설기 음악체계 수립과 중국 연변 음악 교육과정의 역사를 중심으로

북한의 음악의 발전단계를 대체적으로 3단계로 나눠볼 수 있는데, 1단계는 1945-1950년대로, 2단계는 1960년대, 3단계는 1970년대로 본다. 그러나 김정일의 『음악예술론』(1992)이 나온 시기를 고려한다면 1990년대 이후를 4단계로 보아도 무방할 것이다. 또한 1단계는 1945-1950년대, 2단계는 6.25전쟁시기인 1950-1953년, 3단계는 1953-1961년, 4단계는 1961-1970년, 5단계는 1971-1980년, 6단계는 1980년대로 보다 세분화해서 보는 경우도 있다. 이러한 음악단계는 민족음악을 발전시키는 과정에서 이루어진 것으로 민족음악을 주체음악으로 탈바꿈시키는 과정으로 보아야할 것이다. 조선족 음악예술의 발전단계는 주로 1단계를 1949-1966년까지, 2단계를 문화혁명 시기인 1966-1976년까지, 3단계 1978년-현재까지로 본다. 중국은 문화대혁명과 개혁개방을 거쳐 중국특색의 음악예술문화를 발전시켜왔고 이에 따른 교육을 체계화해 왔다. 이처럼 두 국가는 이러한 단계적 발전을 통해 음악교육을 발전시켜왔다. 특히 두 국가는 같은 사회주의 노선을 가고 있는 국가로 음악교육에 있어서 서로 유사하지만 다른 변화·발전 양상을 보이고 있다. 북한은 주체음악사상을 바탕으로 음악교육의 발전양상으로 보이며, 중국은 자본주의 시장체제를 받아들이면서 다양한 음악을 수용하여 발전시키고 있다. 이 논문은 이러한 변화발전을 다루고 있다. If one has to distinguish the development stages of the music in North Korea, it can be roughly divided into three stages: phase 1 in the 1945-1950s, phase 2 in the 1960s, and phase 3 in the 1970s. However, considering the time when Kim Jong IL’s Theory of Music and Arts (1992) appeared, it could be considered as the fourth stage after the 1990s. In addition, the first stage is 1945-1950, the second stage is Korean War (6.25 War), 1950-1953, the third stage is 1953-1961, the fourth stage is 1961-1970, the fifth stage is 1971-1980, and the sixth stage is 1980s. Such music stage is formed in the process of developing national music, and national music should be regarded as the process of transforming national music into the main music. The development stage of Korean Chinese music art mainly includes: the first stage from 1949 to 1966; the second stage was during the Cultural Revolution (1966-1976). The third stage is from 1978 till today. The two countries developed music education through such stage development. In particular, although the two countries follow the same socialist line, they are similar in music education but show different changes and developments. North Korea shows signs of developing music education on the basis of the main music idea. But China has embraced and developed various music types, while accepting the capitalist market system. These changes of development are addressed in this paper.
