The purpose of this study is to investigate the consumer problems in household loanning. This study addresses two research questions : 1. What are the household loan situations? 2. What are the consumer problems, and how often experienced in household loanning? For these purposes, the questionnaires developed by researcher were distributed te 300 consumers in Kwangju, and 240 consumers were adapted as data. The questionnaires includes the type of household loan consumer problems and experienced extend. The data were analyzed by statistical methods such as Frequency, Percentile. Many consumers experienced the type of household loan consumer problems in all steps of loan processes. Some implications are to be considered. Most of consumers were experienced many consumer problems in loanning. Related institution must be concerned with the consumer protection and education. Although this study has some limitation, this results can contribute to provide the comsumer protection programs and this would be important basic material to consumer education.
