엘리트골프선수 부모의 문화자본이 자녀교육관에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 엘리트골프선수 부모의 문화자본이 자녀교육관에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기, 인천 지역 골프아카데미에서 훈련을 받고 있는 엘리트 골프선수의 부모 489명의 자료를 최종분석에 사용하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 조사대상의 일반적 특성에 따른 문화자본의 차이에서는 가구소득이 높고, 학력이 높을수록 문화자본의 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났고 교육관의 차이에서는 부모의 학력이 높을수록 교육열이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 소득이 낮은 집단에서 다양성인식과 통제인식이 소득이 높은 집단보다 높게 나타났다. 문화자본에 따른 교육관의 차이에서는 소비자본, 여가자본, 학력자본이 높은 집단에서 다양성인식이 높게 나타났으며 여가자본이 높은 집단에서 통제인식이 높게 나타났다. 문화자본이 교육관에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 여가자본, 학력자본이 높을수록 다양성인식이 높은 것으로 나타났으며 여가자본이 통제인식에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 학력자본은 올인(All-in)인식에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between the cultural capital of elite golf players’ parents and their educational viewpoints to children. 489 parents of elite golf players participated in our survey. The results are as follows: (1) General characteristics of respondents demonstrated that higher income and academic level explains higher level of cultural capital and lower level of perceptions in diversity and control; (2) The difference in educational viewpoints indicated that higher academic level was linked to higher aspiration of education for children; (3) The differences of educational viewpoints depending on the cultural capital revealed that the group with higher level of capitals in consumption, leisure, and academic background has higher-level perception in diversity and the group with higher leisure capital has higher-level perception in control; (4) The relationship between cultural capital and educational viewpoint demonstrated that higher-level capitals in leisure and academic background was related to higher-level perception in diversity; (5) There was a positive relationship between leisure capital and perception in control; (6) Academic capital positively impacted on the perception in All-in.
