대학생의 내현적 자기애가 관계적 공격성에 미치는 영향 : 자존감과 사회불안의 매개효과 분석

본 연구는 대학생의 내현적 자기애가 관계적 공격성에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 자존감과 사회불안의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 서울, 인천, 경기도, 대전 지역 대학생 443명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 회부된 설문지를 분석자료로 활용하였으며, 기술통계분석, 상관분석, 구조방정식모형을 실시하였다. 분석결과를 살펴보면, 내현적 자기애는 자존감과 부적 상관, 사회불안과 관계적 공격성에 정적 상관을, 자존감은 사회불안과 관계적 공격성에 부적 상관을, 사회불안은 관계적 공격성과 정적 상관을 나타냈다. 이렇듯 변인들 간에 유의미한 상관을 나타내며 이론적 배경을 통한 연구모형의 적합도 지수가 양호하였다. 하지만, 구조모형의 경로 검증 결과 사회불안과 관계적 공격성의 경로가 통계적으로 유의미하지 않은 것으로 나타나며, 내현적 자기애와 관계적 공격성의 관계에서 자존감만이 매개효과를 나타내는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 분석결과를 토대로 본 연구의 의의를 논하였으며, 향후 연구를 위한 제언을 정리하여 마무리 하였다. This study investigated the influence of covert narcissism on relational aggression and verified the dual-mediating effect of self-esteem and social anxiety of college students. For this study, a total of 443 college students from Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi-do, and Daejeon were surveyed in the hopes of understanding the relations of the above-mentioned variables. The data included technical statistics analysis, correlation analysis and structural equation modeling. The analysis indicated a negative correlation between covert narcissism and self-esteem; the variable, covert narcissism, however, showed a positive correlation with social anxiety and relational aggression, respectively. Meanwhile, self-esteem showed a negative correlation with social anxiety as well as relational aggression. Social anxiety is positively correlated with relational aggression. Like this, while the variables showed a significant correlation and effect each other, this study model, developed on the basis of theoretical background, showed a satisfactory level of “model fitness”. However, the path verification of structural equation modeling showed that social anxiety and relational aggression were statistically insignificant. Accordingly, only self-esteem variable showed the mediating effect in the relation between covert narcissism and relational aggression of college students. Based on the results of this study, more detailed analysis, along with a set of recommendations was provided for future study.
