The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effects of empowerment on the relationship between servant leadership and organizational commitment in upscale hotels. Data were collected from upscale hotels which were located in Seoul. A total of 340 surveys were distributed and 299 were analyzed. In order for the test, Spss 12.0 program was used for verifying research model. To summarize the results of the study; first, servant leadership was revealed to have a positive effect on empowerment and organizational commitment. Second, empowerment has a positive effect on organizational commitment of employees. Third, empowerment was mediated in the relationship between the servant Leadership and organizational commitment. The results of the study will suggest a specific guideline for establishing human resource management policies in upscale hotels. Especially, the servant leadership in hotels businesses can have a significant impact on the psychological status and role of employees in customer relations. Therefore, the importance is even more apparent. Also, it should give the empowerment to help employees to rapidly respond to customer needs. Therefor, Employees develop and enhance their capabilities and ultimately have a significant impact on the performance of the company. Limitations of the study are to have a limit of convenience sample. In this paper, we collected data to provide services targeting the staff. Therefore, this paper can cause problems for the bias.
조리 작업과 주방 환경이 조리 종사원의 업무 피로도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study was to understand the relationship between a chef’s physical pain complaints and occupational circumstances. Cause-and-effect analysis of employees whose work was related to cooking was analyzed in relation to, - factor of cooking circumstances (kitchen condition, cooking operation, cooking allocation and distance of movement, cooking facilities) in order to ascertain possible links to physical pain. Cooking operations appeared to causes pain, especially in neck, shoulders, and legs. Cooking allocation and distance of movement, affected backache, eye-tiredness, and change of body-weight. Cooking space and facilities was related to, pain in waist, neck, shoulders, legs, arms, wrists, and back. Because cooking operations require extended concentrations and intensive effort, inappropriate occupational circumstances can lead to employees who usually suffer from accumulated.
의료관광 기업 종사자의 감정노동이 직무소진에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effects of Job stress on the relationship between emotional labor and job burnout of in medical tourism corporations. Data were collected from medical tourism corporations such as hospitals and clinics which were located in Seoul. A total of 355 surveys were distributed and 303 were analyzed. In order for the test, Spss 12.0 program was used for verifying research model. To summarize the results of the study; first, emotional labor was revealed to have a positive(+) effect on Job stress and job burnout. Second, Job stress has a positive effect(+) on job burnout of employees. Third, Job stress was mediated in the relationship between the emotional labor and job burnout. The results of the study will suggest a specific guideline for establishing human resource management policies in medical tourism corporations and specialized medical tourism agency. Therefore, It will be helpful for medical tourism corporations to develop a future management framework for the medical tourism industry. Also, through the results of this study, several measures to prevent job stress and burnout could be proposed for the medical tourism workers. Finally, some of research limitations and future directions were presented.
