큐레이션은 여러 정보를 수집, 선별하고 이에 새로운 가치를 부여해 전파하는 것을 말하고 큐레이터는 정보를 수집, 선별하고 가치를 부여하는 모든 행위, 수집·보존·관리·전시·조사·연구 등을 수행하는 사람을 지칭한다. 여기에 디지털이라는 용어가 합쳐지며 다양한 의미를 포괄하는 복합 단어로 쓰이고 있다. 디지털 큐레이션은 ‘도슨트’, ‘큐레이터’, ‘사용자 맞춤 디지털 서비스’ 이 세가지 개념이 포괄된 용어다. 디지털 큐레이션 프로그램들은 다량의 지식을 보유, 정보를 수집하고 기획하는 큐레이터의 역할을 한다. 또한 오디오, 멀티미디어등 디지털 기능을 사용해 전시설명을 하는 도슨트의 역할을 수행는 동시에 방대한 정보를 바탕으로 사용자의 요구에 맞춘 컬렉션 서비스를 한다. 디지털 큐레이션은 큐레이터, 도슨트가 상주하지 않는 문화재 등에 유용하게 활용 될 것으로 기대된다. 유적지, 사찰, 사원, 향교를 비롯해 넓게는 골목길 투어, 도시 관광까지 단순 길안내와 더불어 지식을 전달하고 이용자가 원하는 정보를 저장함으로써 또 다른 콘텐츠, 알고리즘을 만들어 낼 것이다. 본 논문에서는 박물관, 미술관 애플리케이션 분석을 통해 디지털 큐레이션의 현황을 짚어본다. 현재 사용되고 있는 멀티미디어 도슨트가 디지털 큐레이션으로 성장하기 위한 방안을 제안, 이를 큐레이터가 상주하지 않으나 적합하게 이용 가능 할 것으로 예상되는 서원에 대입 하여 활용 방안을 제시한다. 지역문화유산에 디지털 큐레이션 시스템이 상용화 된다면 역사와 전통을 가진 지역 문화 거점에 지속적인 관심과 연구를 행하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다. 디지털 큐레이션의 기능이었던 아카이빙, 도슨트, 관광(흥미) 등은 지역거점 전통 문화에 대한 지속적인 관심의 도구로 작용할 것이기 때문이다. 특히 연구, 전승, 복원의 움직임이 시작되고 있는 구미 선산의 금오서원은 디지털 큐레이션을 적용하기에 적합하다고 본다. 서원의 디지털 큐레이션 적용으로 역사에 대한 지속적인 관심과 전통 문화의 현대적 전승에 새로운 관점으로 작용하길 바란다. The definition of curation is to collect, select and to add and disseminate the new values. The definition of curator is the person who performs all kinds of behaviors such as collection, selection of the information and adds the value and conducts the collection, preservation, management, investigation and research etc. The term ‘Digital’ is combined with the curation, implying various meanings, and used as complex term. The term ‘Digital curation’ is the term covering the thee concepts ‘Docent’, ‘Curator’, ‘User-customized digital service’. The role of digital curation programs is like a curator’s role to possess lots of knowledge, to collect and plan the information. And also, the digital curation performs the role of docent, explaining the exhibition by applying digital functions such as audio and multimedia etc. and implementing user -customized collection service based on the immense volume of the information. The digital curation is expected to be applied for various heritage resources in where curator and docent do not stay. This digital curation will be applied not only to historic sites, temples, Korean Hyanggyo but also to tour of the ally and city including the directions of the road. And also, the digital curation will forward knowledge and save usercustomized information and create another type of contents and algorithms. The present conditions of digital curation are reviewed through the analysis on the application of museum and art gallery in this paper. The plans to grow multimedia docent as digital curation is suggested and the estimated Korean Seowons for the application of multimedia docent, where curator does not reside, are presented in this paper. If the digital curation system for regional heritage resources is commercialized, it is expected that the digital curation would help conduct the research and make continuous interest in regional cultural base with long history and tradition since the functions of digital curation such as archiving, docent, tourism (interest) will be used as a tool for continuous interest in regional base of traditional culture. Especially, the GeumO-Seowon, where the movement of research, transmission and restoration are just about to start, is the ideal place for application of digital curation. 문화향유 기회 측면에서의 지역 문화기반시설 현황 분석 -2021년도 기준 전국 문화기반시설 총람을 중심으로-

공공 문화기반시설은 국민이 문화를 접하는 1차 문화 서비스 제공 장소로서 모든 국민이 문화향유에 대한 기회를 제공받고 더 나아가 교육의 기회와 표현의 자유를 누릴 수 있는 핵심적이자 필수적인 공간이다. 우리나라는 각 문화기반시설에 근거법을 두고 이에 대한 조성과 운영이 국가와 지방자치단체의 책임임을 명시하고 있다. 또한 문화체육관광부는 전국 문화기반시설 총람을 통해 전국의 문화기반시설에 대한 기본 현황을 제공하고 문화기반시설의 정책 기반으로써 활용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전국 문화기반시설 총람을 기준으로 공공 문화기반시설의 현황을 정리하고 문화기반시설의 지역별 차이점과 정책적 시사점을 도출하였다. 특히 문화기반시설에 대한 지역의 현황을 보다 객관적으로 분석하고 시설의 양적인 측면뿐만 아니라 문화콘텐츠, 문화자원과 운영, 문화향유와 소비 측면에서 분류하여 분석하였다는 데에 의의가 있다. 이는 정책을 수립할 때에 기초적인 자료이자 국민들의 문화기반시설 접근성을 높이기 위한 기준으로서 기능할 것으로 기대한다. Public cultural infrastructure is the primary place for cultural services where the people encounter culture, and is a key and essential space for all citizens to be provided with opportunities for cultural enjoyment and further enjoy educational opportunities and freedom of expression. Korea has a foundation law for each cultural infrastructure and stipulates that the state and local governments are responsible for the creation and operation of it. In particular, experts point out that regional cultural policies should be established to overcome differences in cultural infrastructure services in the metropolitan area and non-metropolitan areas, even though regions such as the 「Regional Culture Promotion Act」 have actively increased the quantity of facilities. Accordingly, in this study, the current status of public cultural infrastructure was summarized based on a summary of cultural infrastructure across the country, and regional differences and policy implications of cultural infrastructure were derived. The target cultural infrastructure was divided into four facilities: libraries, museums and art galleries, literary centers, local cultural centers, and cultural centers. As a result, it was found that it is difficult to say that cultural infrastructure necessarily differs between the metropolitan area and the non-metropolitan area. In particular, it was found that the concentration of support and use for each facility differs from local government to each other rather than the deviation by facility.
