Electrochemical discharge machining is a very recent technique for non-conducting materials such as<br/> ceramics and glasses. ECDM is conducted in the NaOH solution and the cathode electrode is separated from<br/> the solution by H2 gas bubble. Then the discharge is appeared and the non-conductive material is removed by<br/> spark and some chemical reactions. In the ECDM technology, the H2 bubble control is the most important<br/> factor to stabilize the discharging condition. In this paper, we proposed the discharge peak monitoring/<br/> discharging duty feedback algorithms for the discharge stabilization and the feasibility of this algorithm is<br/> verified by various pattern machining in the constant preload conditions for the cathode electrode.
유체-구조 상호작용 기법을 이용한 일회용 약물주입기의 성능예측 및 최적 설계

This study examines the performance of disposable drug infuser and proposes an optimum design introducing an elastic body structure. Disposable drug infuser was based on the principal of the recovery force exerted by the elastic diaphragm, as to provide a constant supply of drugs to an out patient who stays away from hospital. It also controls the speed, the duration and the amount of drugs to be released. The existing disposable drug infuser has generally revealed two major problems: one is that the infusion pressure depends on the amount of drug to be infused and the other is that drug infusion decreases. The experiment in this article aims to build and implement the optimum design with respect to the method of fluid-structure interaction, which allows the infusion pressure to remain constant throughout all steps of drug infusion and discharge.

The deployment process of fully folded airbag is analyzed by using commercial finite element program, PAM-SAFE. Folding methods are presented for flat driver side airbag and 3-dimensional passenger side airbag. 'Initial metric' is used to fold 3-dimensionaJ passenger side airbag before deployment analysis. The pressure waveform obtained from simulation are compared to the test results adopting 125mm-30ms criteria. The results of simulation can be applied to the design of airbag module.<br/>

Aluminum Intensive Vehicle reduces the weight of automotive body for about 30 percents than conventional one and it has much more energy absorbing capability.<br/> In this paper, an effective impact energy absorbing member is designed and then comparatively analyzed with conventional automotive body in the respect of impact energy absorbing capability. In the long run, the method to optimize a design of impact energy absorbing member on AIV and the hybrid model which can be used on early design step is suggested.
