본 연구는 자원봉사자들의 욕구에 미치는 각종 요인들을 조사, 분석 하여 자원봉사 교육프로그램에 제공하여 자원봉사활동에 도움이 되고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 자료를 분석결과, 교육프로그램이 봉사활동에 도움에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 검증 가설을 더 명확히 하기 위해 자원봉사 교육프로그램이 봉사활동에 도움여부를 검증해 보고자 T-검정, F-검정, 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 교육프로그램 수강여부, 참여여부가 유의미한 변수인 것으로 나타났다. 자원봉사 교육프로그램 수강여부에 따른 봉사활동에 있어서 교육의 필요성 인식의 수강여부에 따라 차이는 있는 것으로 나타났다. 자원봉사프로그램에 참여한 적이 있는 봉사자가 봉사활동에 도움이 높았다. 따라서 자원봉사프로그램 참여여부에 따라 봉사활동에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 더 많은 봉사자를 프로그램을 참여시키기 위해선 다양한 자원봉사 프로그램 개발 등이 있어야 될 것으로 여겨진다. 자원봉사 교육프로그램 수강여부가 봉사활동에 도움을 주는지 여부는 자원봉사 교육프로그램을 수강한 적이 있는 봉사자가 수강하지 않는 봉사자 보다 자원봉사활동에 도움이 되었다고 인식하고 있다. 수강한 봉사자가 자원봉사활동에 도움이 되고 있음을 보여줌에 따라 교육수강여부가 봉사활동에 도움을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결론을 통해 본 연구는 보다 체계적인 교육훈련을 통해 자원봉사자가 봉사활동을 전개할 때 좋은 인식하는데 좋은 방안이 될 수 있을 것이다.
