지능형 개념기반 검색시스템(Intelligent Concept Based Retrieval System)은 구문적 서술(Syntactic Description)과 의미적 서술(Semantic Description)에 의한 상호 융합으로 이뤄질 수 있는데 컬러 히스토그램, Curvanature 히스토그램등과 같은 구문적 서술(Syntactic Description) 내용의 추출은 현재의 기술들로 잘 이룰 수 있다. 또한 특정 응용 분야에서뿐만 아니라 미디어 타입에 따라서도 쉽게 사용될 수 있다. 이미 MPEG-7에서 표준화된 Description Scheme을 제공하고 있다. 그러나 기술 구조 레벨과 개요 레벨등과 같은 다양한 기술 레벨들에 의해 구문적 서술(Syntactic Description) 이질성은 발생한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 polygonal mesh 기반 미디어 객체 표현방법을 제시하고 이를 통해 간접적 서술 변환을 할 수 있는 방안을 제시하여 구문적 서술(Syntactic Description)에서의 이질성 문제를 해결하였다.

대학기숙사는 재학생들의 다양한 기본적 욕구를 충족시키고 독특한 캠퍼스경험과 학업성취를 위해 중요한 역할을 하여왔다. 또한 학생 재학률 향상과 외국학생 유치를 위한 수용능력에 대한 수요가 커지고 있다. 학생들의 사회적 교류와 공동체 의식은 학업스트레스와 향수병을 경감하고 개인적 성장과 동년배 그룹의 사회문화 적응에 긍정적인 기회를 제공하는데 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 대학기숙사의 물리적 환경이 상이한 문화적 배경을 가진 학생들의 사회적 교류와 공동체 의식에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 가 조사하는데 있다. 교차분석은 개인적 배경에 따라 공동체의식에 대한 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 존재하나 두 개의 문화적 그룹에는 별다른 영향이 없음을 밝혀내었다. 공동체의식 요소와 물리적 환경에 대한 만족도조사 분석에서 한국학생그룹은 전반적으로 미국학생그룹보다 비교적 높은 평균값을 나타내었다. 다중회귀분석에서는 미국학생들의 사회적 교류환경을 위해 쾌적한 냉난방과 같은 기능적 요소가 가장 중요한 것으로 분석된 반면, 한국학생그룹은 가족지향적인 환경이 제일 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 다중 회귀분석결과를 통한 선형분석은 물리적환경의 만족도가 높아감에 따라 공동체 의식 및 사회적 교류환경 정도가 높아짐을 확증하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 대학 기숙사 계획에서 기관의 기능보다는 가정적 환경에 역점이 두어야 함을 제안하고 있다. University dormitories play an important role inboth the campus experience and academic achievement, as well as providing the students with their basic necessities. Further, there is ahigh demand to increase thecapacity in order to raise the retention rate and to invite more foreign students. Students" social interaction and sense of community (SOC) also play an important role in reducing the stress associated withstudying and home sickness and, consequently,the campus is a place that providespositive opportunities for their personal growth and adaptation into their peer group social culture. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the physical environment of the dormitory facilities on the students" sense of community and social interaction in across-cultural background.The χ<SUP>2</SUP> analysis indicated that individual characteristics exist regarding SOC, however, there were no statistically significant differencesbetween the two cultural groups. The factors of SOC and physical environment were higher in the Korean student group than in the U.S. group. The regression analysis indicated that the U.S. students considered a physically comfortable environment as the primary issue for social interaction, while the Korean group placed more emphasis on afamily-oriented home environment. The linear analysis confirmed that satisfaction with the physical environment influenced the social interaction and SOC level. Finally, this study suggests that creating a homely environment is more important than the functioningof the institution in university dormitory planning.

네트워크화된 시스템의 수가 증가함에 따라 시스템에 대한 보안이 큰 문제로 지적되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 최근에 많이 연구되고 있는 침입 탐지(Intrusion Detection) 방법을 좀 더 효과적으로 개선하고자 한다. 대부분의 침입 탑지 시스템에서는 통계적인 방법을 주로 사용하고 있는데 최근에는 인공지능 기법을 도입하기도 한다. 그러나, 지금까지의 방법들은 새로운 침입 패턴이 나타날 때, 이를 비정상 행위로 간주하지 않는다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 최근 주목 받고 있는 데이터 마이닝 기법을 적용하여 기존의 침입 패턴뿐만 아니라, 새로운 유형의 침입 패턴도 추출해 낼 수 있는 기법을 제안하였다.

Since modern period in Korea, the visual effects of facade design and site plan influence the exterior design of neighboring architecture on the condition that the development of exterior space in educational facilities doest not correspond to other various changes of design of facility. The purpose of the study is to investigate how the trend of modem and late modern period in school facility were changed in relation with architectural planning and design. Major research findings are as followings; Each historical period of school facilities in Korea were classified as modem architecture (before 1910), modem architecture in Imperial ruling by Japan (1910~1945), modem architecture after liberation (after 1945), new emersion of new school typology (1990~1997), period of growth by quality (1998~2004), appearance of various school environment (after 2005). Based on the analysis of each period, the study concluded that the development of school typology is done from the Japanese wood architecture, quantity oriented expansion by compulsory education, emergence of standard design, user-oriented school planning, to various educational environment which emphasizes sustainable environmental concept.

온톨로지 언어 사용 지침 표준안 제정 및 표준안 기반 온톨로지 구축 도구 설계

현재 온톨로지는 많은 분야에서 활발하게 연구되고 있다. 온톨로지 구축에 관한 표준 언어가 W3C에 의해 공표되었으며, 온톨로지를 구축하기 위한 많은 도구들이 개발되어져 왔다. 그러한 도구들은 각각 특징이 있고, 온톨로지의 구축을 위해 최적화되어 있지만, 한가지 단점은 도구의 일반성의 결여이다. 기존의 모든 온톨로지 구축 도구들은 온톨로지 전문가를 위한 전문가용 구축 도구라고 해도 과언이 아니다. 그리하여 온톨로지에 관심이 있는 일반 사용자가 그러한 도구들을 사용하기 위해 많은 노력이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 이런 단점을 보완하기 위하여 온톨로지 언어에 대한 사용자 지침 표준안을 만들고, 이 표준안을 온톨로지 구축 도구에 적용하여 보다 쉽고 정확한 온톨로지 구축이 가능한 온톨로지 구축 도구를 설계하였다.

특정 도메인에 대한 자동 온톨로지 구축 방법에 관한 연구

현재 온톨로지는 많은 분야에서 활발하게 연구되고 있다. 특히 시맨틱 웹에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어지면서 온톨로지의 활용 범위가 넓어졌다. 그 결과, 많은 온톨로지가 웹 상에 존재하게 되었으며, 이러한 이론적 배경으로 시맨틱 웹의 관점이 아닌, 온톨로지 연구의 측면에서 여러 가지 문제가 발생하게 되었다. 많은 문제들 중에서 동일한 도메인에 대한 온톨로지들 간의 이질성과 온톨로지의 일관성 문제 해결은 현재 가장 이슈가 되는 내용들이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 이러한 온톨로지 구축에서 발생하는 문제점들 중에서 기존의 지식 정보의 효율적인 재사용과 그에 기반한 온톨로지 구축 자동화의 가능성을 보인다. 또 이러한 기존 지식 체계에 기반함으로써 얻을수 있는 온톨로지에 대한 신뢰성의 문제 또한 해결하고 한다. 그리하여, 우리는 범용의 대형 온톨로지인 워드넷을 기반으로 한 자동 온톨로지 구축을 위한 방법론을 제안하고, 이를 적용한 온톨로지 자동 구축 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 그리하여 사용자가 좀더 쉽게 온톨로지를 구축할 수 있기를 기대할 수 있다.

공동주택 거주자의 가격영향 인식에 영향을 미치는 외부공간 계획요소에 관한 연구

Recent freeing of price regulation of apartment for sale brought a market change, giving prospects more right to select a unit based on qualities and price. In relation with market values and site planning, survey analysis of apartment residents indicated that safe and reasonable side walking system was important in circulation planning, small parks and rest places in public outdoor space, continuous siting of neighborhood retails in relation with adjacent commercial facilities, public transportation in deciding development site, while avoiding garbage and toxic treatment facilities. Families with more children contended that there existed close relationship between market values and safe and reasonable side walking system. Residents with higher educational background and old ages also indicated that small neighborhood parks and rest places in public outdoor spaces were influential on market values of apartment housing for sale. Consequently, low-income families considered that the location of neighborhood retails in apartment housing was important, while families with higher income showed continuous siting of retails with adjacent commercial facilities was influential on overall market value in housing development.
