Polyion Complex와 저분자 유기 염료와의 상호작용

The extent of binding of two type acid dyes (levelling and super milling) by the polyion complexes of poly(allyl amine)/poly(methacrylic acid) (PAA/PMA) and poly-(4-vinyl pyridine)/poly(methacrylic acid)(P4VP/PMA), which are insoluble in water, was examined at 20~4$0^{\circ}C$ temperature range in a buffer solution (pH 7.0). The first binding constant and the thermodynamic parameters in the course of binding were calculated. PAA/PMA complex showed that the enthalpy change was small and negative, but the entropy change was positive. P4VP/PMA complex showed that the enthalpy change was large and negative, and the entropy change was also negative. These results suggest that hydrophobic interaction plays at important role in binding of acid dyes by PAA/PMA complex, and electrostatic interaction of acid dyes with P4VP/PMA complex.

In order to investigate the low liquor dyeing method of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) fiber, a study on two phase dyeing method was studied. The results are as follows: 1. Initial dyeing rate of two phase dyeing method was greater than that of dyeing in water, and the solubility of dye in solvents had much influence on initial dyeing rate, but bath ratio had little. 2. Dye affinity of two phase dyeing method was greater than that of dyeing in water but smaller than solvent dyeing. 3. Diffusion coefficient was greater than that of dyeing in water but smaller than solvent dyeing. 4. saturation value of dye of two phase dyeing method was excellently great than that of water dyeing and solvent dyeing. 5. The decrease of liquor ratio had little influence on the unlevel dyeing in two phase dyeing method. 6. The light and wet fastness of PET dyed by two phase dyeing were nearly the same as that by water dyeing.

Fading gives the change of three characteristic value, i.e., hue, chroma, and value. In order to study on the color of natural dye, authors have dyed ramie, silk, and nylon fabric in dye solution extracted from fruits of Cape Jasmine, and exposed them to carbon arc light. The results of experiment have been analysed by the method of C.I.E. chromaticity diagram, H.V/C color solid, and the determination of three characteristic value of color difference etc.. The results from these analyses are as follows; 1. As the dyeing temperature becomes higher, the hue of Cape Jasmine dye on the silk and nylon fabric gets the shift Y to YR, its value increases and its chroma decreases. 2. The light fading of this dye makes the shift of hue YR to Y; on the nylon and silk singlehue, on the ramie multihue. And also the value and chroma of this dye on the silk and nylon decrease with the light fading. 3. The light fading of Cape Jasmine dye is chiefly caused by the shift of chroma.
스케일 제거 양모에 대한 산성염료의 염색성에 관한 연구

The dyeing behavior of scaled wool by acid dyes, Methyl Orange, Ethyl Orange and Butyl Orange has been studied at 50, 60 and 70℃. The adsorption isotherms on descaled wool of these dyes were described in terms of the Langmuir-type adsorption formula at the equilibrium state. Also Klotz's equation could be applicable to dye-wool complexes. The first binding constant decreases with temperature and increases with increasing alkyl chain length. It was found that the free energy and the enthalpy changes are all negative and the entropy change is positive.

This paper discusses the more economical scouring method of raw wool suitable to the Sae Ma Eul plants for providing the better hand-spun yarn. It's results are as follows. 1. It is more economical in Sae Ma Eul plants that the work of sheep washing is omitted from the scouring process. 2. The addition of electrolytes has lowered the pH value of scouring liquor and pruduced an improvement in detergency, so that, when wool is scoured on the small scale, such as in the Sae Ma Eul plants, the application of this method is recommended. 3. Not, producers of the hand-spun yarn of wool is applying Hiti scouring method by one bath process to raw wool. wool, however, is degraded by the Hiti liquor more than pH 10, so that the method repeated many times in different baths more than two of the lower concentration. Such as counter-current system, is recommended.

In order to investigate the low liquor ratio dyeing method of poly(ethylene tereqphthalte)(PET) fiber, a basic study on two phase dyeing method was studied. The results are as follows; 1. Toluene, xylene, perchloroethylene, tetrachloroethane, and monochlorobenzene are effective as solvent, being considered their boiling points, solubilities in water, and the solubility of dye. 2. Dye partition quantity from solvents to water was proportional to the dissolved quantity of dye in solvents. 3. The crystallinity change of PET fiber dyed by two phase dyeing method had little difference from that of fiber dyed in water. 4. Initial dyeing rate of two phase dyeing method was greater than that of dyeing in water, and the solubility of dye in solvents had much influence on initial dyeing rate, but bath ratio had little. 5. Polymer coagulant was effective to the purification of dyeing waste-water. It was much easier because there was no auxiliaries in the two phase dyeing bath.

From old times wangol has been processed on a small scale for domestic use in rural society. But, nowadays many forms of wangol products are appearing and becoming useful in various ways. The demand for these wangol products is increasing in big cities and foreign countries; and owing to it's popularity abroad, wangol Processing has become one of Korea's important export industries. Now in order to study on wangol quality, we made experiments on scouring, bleaching, and dyeing. Results of the study are follows; The storing of raw material decreased the strength, and alkali and heat treatment could not be recomended. In case of bleaching the fresh wangol was mere effectively bleached than the processed wangol, and sulfur dioxide was more effective than bleaching powder for the bleaching of wangol. Direct dyeing and reactive dyeing were useful for the dyeing of wangol. For maintaining the quality of raw materials reactive dyeing was more effective, but direct dyeing was more economical.
