중국철학 : 왕양명의 심(心)에 보이는 신성(神性)과 성성(聖性)에 대한 이해

This thesis is focused on discovering the divinity and holiness out of Yangming Wang`s spiritual mind. These two factors have been dealt separately in order to give comprehending that there exists the ultimate reality in his mind and this reality is very religious. Wang places the state of his mind to the same level as God`s to justify the authority of his divinity. The mind leveled up to the state of God`s transcends a human`s physical body, limited human mind, and the earthly material world and it becomes the source of the ultimate truth and sageness as the metaphysical being. I divided this divinity of his mind into two. One is embracing all the principles of the universe, and the other is accepting the universe as it is and actualizing its principles. This point of view will give us the conception that there does exist the ultimate reality or truth in Wang`s mind. I also split the holiness of his mind into two. The first one is having a pure mind which is just like holiness. The second is that Liangzie produces holiness. The former says that when he has a pure mind, the mind becomes like the universe and it actualizes the original mind which Heaven has bestowed human beings, and retrieves the holiness. The latter says that Liangzie becomes the same source producing holiness because the thoughts originated from Liangzie obeys all of the universal principles, so if we practice Liangzie the holiness is automatically followed. Therefore, the mind is the absolute being or the supreme judge to Wang. Wang is very positive of his noesis and belief in his mind. His assurance is like that of a man who did not believe in God at all, and one day suddenly changes his mind and confesses his strong belief in God after experiencing something extraordinary in his mind. Wang has an insight into the ultimate reality through his mind. From Wang`s point of view, the ultimate reality is able to put the physical body and the spiritual mind together, make people love one another, and harmonize a human with the university. He realizes he has the ultimate reality or truth in his spiritual mind and he believes it strongly. This belief leads him to conclude that the mind can save both an individual and the world. In conclusion, Wang`s firm belief in his spiritual mind has something in common with the conviction of a theist who is sure about the existence of God and the possibility of communication with God. Although Wang does not believe in God as the religious being, he is very certain that there is the absolute being or ultimate reality in his mind.
