        남해 가막만(Gamak Bay) 내에 있어서 어선어업의 어장 선택에 관한 연구

        Gamak Bay is a highly productive fishing area in Jeollanam-do as both major spawning and nursery ground for fisheries resources. The purpose of this study is to investigate the variation of location fishing gear and migration, behavior patterns of fishes in the Gamak Bay. Based on this, it will be able to provide information that can predict the location of fishermens fishing grounds selection. The survey on the location of fishing gear was conducted in parallel with question survey and boarding survey. The question survey was conducted on 23 members of the Ungcheon and the Ssangbong fishing village in the Gamak Bay. In the boarding survey, location of fishing gear was moved to clockwise rotation as the season change from July 2018 to June 2019. It is judged that fishes caught by season change their habitat in response to the characteristics of environment in the bay. The number of fishing gear by season was large in the spring and fall, and relatively small in the summer and autumn. In the spring, gillnet gear was increased around Dewegyeongdo and Sogyeongdo to catch increasing priced Marbled flounder, Psudopleuronectes yokohamae, Purple pike conger. In the summer, the installation of longline gear around Dolsando was increased to catch the Muraeneresox cinereus, which represents Yeosu area. In the fall and winter, the Long arm octopus was mainly caught in the trap gear, which was set up on the low and dense central part in the bay. As a result, location information was obtained through the nursery ground of major fish species in the Gamak Bay.

        선망어구에 사용되는 망지들의 침강 특성에 관한 연구

        This study investigated to understand the basic sinking performance of nets used in a large purse seine gear. To analyze the sinking performance characteristics of the purse seine gear, the sinking speed was measured in which thirteen kind of PES knotless nets used for the purse seine gear by folded or spread. In case of same mesh size, sinking speed was faster when was thicker diameter of bar, when diameter of bar was same, longer as length of bar, the faster the sinking speed. By classified on a diameter of bar, it was calculated on the sinking speed coefficient (a<SUB>s</SUB>) at larger than to spread on 0.0985 when folded 0.1121 in 10-mesh size nets. By classified a length of bar, the sinking speed coefficient (a<SUB>s</SUB>) at 36-yarn was larger than 0.0208 when folded to 0.0620 when spread. Applying the results of the experiment to the large purse seine gear in Korea, there was analyzed in sinking speed between the body net to surrounding nets of the currently used for, the sinking speed difference was calculated. As a result, several parts of purse seine gear were considered to need improvement.

        제주특별자치도의 낚시 통제구역 설정에 관한 연구

        As a series of research plan, this study is to provide basic data necessary for the development of fishing industry which will contribute in establishing sound fishing culture in Jeju island through systematic management of fishing, protection of fishery resources and establishment of safety measures for fishermen in accordance with ‘Fishing Management and Support Act’. To attain the proposed objective, this study conducted literature review and surveys on restriction standards of harmful substances generated from fishing equipment and baits, examined the current status of fishing management in popular fishing sites of other cities, and then reviewed and analyzed the fishing management and fishing-restriction zones in Jeju island. The survey on the opinions on the restriction criteria of fishing methods, tools and period, including the acceptable standards for harmful substances showed that general fishermen preferred ‘alleviating the measure (44.8%)’ to ‘aggravating the measure (23.0%)’. Meanwhile, maritime police showed dominant opinion toward ‘aggravating the restriction (52.2%)’ over ‘alleviating the measure (4.3%)’. Furthermore, fishing-related enterprise is favored ‘aggravating the restriction (32.6%)’ over ‘alleviating the measure (27.9%)’. In the survey on the tolerance of fishing baits including criterion for content of certain substance in different types of bait, it showed 57.5% of general fishermen preferred alleviating restriction criteria while 20.7% of them favored tougher restriction. Whereas, 33.3% of maritime police group insisted such fishing baits should be more restricted while 16.7% answered it should be alleviated. 35.9% of fishing-related enterprise was in favor of alleviation while 14.3% preferred aggravation. Upon investigation on the status of fishing management in other cities and towns, it turned out that most of them had safety and convenience facilities, installed warning and guide signs in fishing sites, and set no fishing zones. The review of fishing management and restricted area showed that 10 sites required access restriction and 2 of 10 sites were considered to be partially restricted for weather and season. 82 fishing sites were regarded as unnecessary to be restricted and installation of safety facility and guide signs is necessary for the safety of fishermen.

        전남지역 연안복합(문어단지) 어업의 조업실태 조사

        Interviews and boarding surveys were conducted in order to understand the actual usage of octopus pot in the coastal composite fishery in Jeollanam-do. According to the results of the interviews conduced by visiting the areas (Goheung, Yeosu and Wando), the number of octopus pots per nine-ton vessel were 30,000-80,000, and the number of daily usage pots were 7,000-10,000. The number of octopus pots per four-ton vessel was 40,000, and the number of daily usage pots were 4,000. As a result of the survey on two octopus pot fishing boats (9.77-ton and 4.99-ton) in Yeosu area, the daily catch weight of 9-ton class vessel was the minimum of 66.9 kg and the maximum of 159.6 kg. The daily catch weight of the four-ton class fishing vessel was from 31.3 kg to maximum 85.6 kg. The average number of octopus pot used per day in the nine-ton class vessel was 6,821 (the minimum of 6,031 and the maximum of 7,697) and 3,181 (the minimum of 2,282 and the maximum of 3,878) in the four-ton class vessel.

        제주특별자치도의 낚시관리 및 통제구역 설정에 관한 연구 -관련법 분석 및 설문조사-

        This study is one of the research series for providing basic data that would contribute to the development of the field of fishing industry through the systematic fishing management, protection of fishery resources and healthy fishing culture with safety measures for fishermen in Jeju island according to the implementation of 「Fishing Management and Support Act」. As a result of analyzing the related acts, the contents of this study are related with provisions of 「Fishing management and Support Act」 on acts on fishing management, fish bait management, support for fishing and fishing related industries and with provisions of 「Act of the preservation and management of desert island」on the preservation, use and development of desert island (use and development in a desert island, behavior in usable desert island). As a result of the survey, the rocks on the seashore showed the highest popularity with 52.6% for fishermen and the seawall was the highest with 47.1% for Maritime police as their fishing place in the fishing related activity data. And as the survey result about the awareness of 「Fishing management and Support Act」, 65.2% of general fishermen, 36.0% of maritime police and 70.5% of fishing related agencies answered that they knew the act. It was also surveyed whether they consider its contribution to fishing related industry development and positive result was shown by general fishermen and maritime police with 46.8%, 48.0% respectively whereas fishing-related enterprises showed negative answer with 47.7%. In the survey of fishing related regulation standard, general fishermen, maritime police and fishing related agencies all showed different opinions regarding the regulation standard. It is recommended that regulation standard needs to be set up after detailed review.

        생력형 5단 유자망 양망기의 효율성에 관한 연구

        As part of a series of studies about improving yellow croaker drift gill net fishing gear and the development of a labor-saving fishing system, we installed a labor-saving-type, five-step-drum net hauler, and a triple-V-type net hauler in 108 Daeheung-ho, a fishing boat which operates drift gill nets for yellow croakers mainly in the sea near Chu-ja Island. Net damage with the labor-saving-type, five-step-drum net hauler is lower than for the triple-V-type net hauler. In addition, there was a reduction in the standard operational crew of two people. The lead time for hauling the labor-saving net was approximately 10% and 19.2% less than for hauling the triple-V-type net hauler and for hauling by hand, respectively. It was found that there were fewer slip in fishing gear and less damage to the wing of the drum as well as less damage to the fish when the labor-saving-type, five-step-drum net hauler was used than when the triple-V-type net hauler was used. In the survey, the lead time for hauling the net was approximately 21.6% and 45.2% more effective than hauling with the triple-V-type net hauler and hauling by hand, respectively. The crew was reduced by approximately 18.2% and 25% than when hauling with the triple-V-type net hauler and hauling by hand, respectively. In addition, cessation of operation and damage to the fish were reduced when compared to the triple-V-type net hauler and hauling by hand.

        초등학생의 장애학생 인식에 대한 내적,외적요인의 관계 분석

        The purpose of this study was to illustrate the relationships between internal and external factors of elementary school students`` perception toward students with disabilities. The 554 students who were in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades of elementary school participated for this study. The questionnaire was divided into two parts, 14 questions with internal factors and 35 questions with external factors for this study. The validity and reliability of the questions were verified, and t/F test, correlation, and regression analysis were utilized for this study. The results of this study were that (a) the variables to influence the elementary students`` internal factors were the experiences to participate understanding education to students with disabilities and place of residence; (b) Sex, grade, the experiences to participate understanding education to students with disabilities, and place of residence were effective variables to positive perception related with external factors; and (c) the internal factor and external factor were interacted together to be influenced for elementary students`` perception toward students with disabilities. Especially this study emphasized the teachers`` teaching behavior for students with disabilities was the most important variable which means the elementary students can keep positive perception to students with disabilities.

        연승어업에서 참돔의 섭식행동을 응용한 어획시스템의 성능 분석

        In this study, we designed a fishing system to reproduce the underwater movement of the living Sword tip squid (Loligo edulis) used as bait in the red seabream long line fishery, and conducted the experiment of the fishing operation in 2 ways, i.e., a pole and line fishing method (fishermen) and a bait control fishing system used at fishing sites. Based on the catches in fishing operation, the experiment was conducted over a six times (2014 & 2015), and then 107 fishes were caught by the line fishing method while 57 fishes were caught by the bait control fishing system. The fishermen method actively controlled the speed of gear movement upward and downward while checking the reaction of red seabreams to the bite in the process which a jerk was transmitted to single line hook fishing gear manually. The bait control fishing system is a passive method which fishermen visually check only the movements at the end of fishing pole, enabled differentiation of bite reactions of red seabream during fishing operation. Thus, the difference between fishermen method and the bait control fishing system was found to about 53.3% in the catches. We confirmed the possibility of a site fishing operation based on the bait control fishing system designed newly as a result of this study. Improvement is in several areas for commercialization at the site. This fishing system is expected to be able to find wide-ranging applications as a new labor-saving method for the fishing red seabreams if it is applied to the fishing sites after aforesaid process.

        제주특별자치도의 낚시산업의 지원 및 육성방안에 관한 연구

        We carried out the literature study, question survey, and a field study systematically on overall matters pertaining to the laws and institutions, etc., related to fishing industry in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province amid the enforcement of the ‘Fishing Management and Promotion Act’, and furthermore, performed comprehensive reviews and analyses of current status, deriving on support and measures for development of fishing industry. Based on results of the surveys, support would need to be provided at policy level to underpin growth and advancement of fishing industry in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, including the expansion of policy-based support for advancement of fishing industry, creation of safe and comfortable fishing space, resolution of disputes and conflicts swirling over the use of fishing grounds and fish resources, establishment of legal, institutional, and managerial organizations related to fishing industry, shift from regulation-centric administration and policies related to fishing industry, formulation of educational and promotional programs to help desirable fishing culture take root.

        제주 시범 바다목장 해역의 낚시어선 활성화에 관한 연구

        In this study, the site survey and questionnaire survey were conducted in order to help map out the measures stimulating the use of fishing boats engaged in seawater related to the pilot marine ranch of Jeju-do. Current status of fishing boat users was investigated and analyzed based on the data associated with the boarding declaration filed with the coastal guard. Gorsan-ri, the highest rate, followed by family-unit fishing boats comprising 68.4% of all fishing boat users. Rest areas and restrooms are very important places where minority groups of people enjoy fishing in small fishing boats. As a result, the survey pointed out that the aging and backwardness of fishing boats are the biggest problems with 27.6 percent. Therefore, it is urgent to change the structure of the modernized fishing boat to activate the fishing vessel In this study, we carried out the data investigation, site survey, onboard survey, questionnaire survey, and boarding declaration systematically in order to derive the measures that could promote the use of fishing boats in the seawaters of Chaguido, and these 5 items: 1) review of the policies of local governments based on projects for modernization of fishing boats; 2) local governments support for periodic release of seedling of community fish species; 3) expansion of amenities in the area around the Gosan Port; 4) introduction and operation of interactive/experiential programs related to the use of fishing boats in conjunction with local governments and fishing villages; and 5) promotion for family-unit users via social shopping and social media. It is considered that the use of fishing boats can be further promoted if aforesaid 5 items are adopted as the measures to promote fishing boats in seawaters where the pilot marine ranch of Jeju-do is situate and then presented to concerned policy planning departments for implementation at policy level.
