This study analyzes the appropriate subsidy level for E V, PHEV and F CEV through an economic feasibility analysis of green vehicle dissemination policy from the point of view of the government and profitability analysis on green vehicles from the point of view of individual consumers, in order to contribute to improving the effectiveness of domestic green vehicle dissemination policy. The results of the economic feasibility and the profitability analysis show that current government green vehicle dissemination policy does not have economic feasibility; however, from the point of view of individual consumers, EV and PHEV do have profitability when compared with internal combustion vehicles, with 2016 as the base year. In this case, individual consumers may actively consider the purchase of EV and PHEV; however, at the level of society as a whole, the dissemination of EV and PHEV is problematic, and some restrictions on dissemination are necessary.
