Numerical studies were performed to analyze effect of nozzle number on supersonic jet noise. When the nozzle of antitank guided missile(ATGM) exhausts a plume, the supersonic blast wave is created and makes a complicated flux and supersonic jet noise. The method of similarity modelling is used to analyze the supersonic jet noise of multiple nozzle jets as well as a single nozzle jet. Numerical results show that the sound pressure level of multiple nozzle jet is lower than that of a single nozzle jet.

A numerical analysis for silencers of the multi hole orifice valve has been performed. The Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes equations with K-ε turbulence model were employed to compute steady. incompressible flow, an symmetric computational domain. and unstructured grids. The resolution of flow field is observed by pressure distribution, flow streamline, valve flow coefficient and valve loss coefficient. The valve flow coefficient reduce approximately 9% but valve loss coefficient increse approximately 16%.

유도무기의 사출모타에서 분출되는 초음속 배기화염을 해석하기 위하여 삼차원 전산유체역학 연구가 수행되었다. 이 연구의 목적은 작은 엄폐호에 있는 사수에 미치는 충격을 판단하기 위함이다. 이번 논문에서는 격자생성과 해법기술 등을 포함한 수치해석방법의 소개가 주를 이룬다. Three dimensional CFD study has been performed for analyzing the supersonic plume exhausting from the eject motor of a guided missile. The purpose of the study is to assess the impact of the plume to the shooter in a small bunker. The main body of the present paper is the development of a numerical method including grid generation and solver schemes.

In this study, flow characteristics has been investigated by changing the impeller design parameter of submersible mixer. A commercial program, SC-Tetra was used to analyze the flow characteristic of submersible mixer. The performance of the submersible mixer is related to the velocity diffusion profiles of the impeller and required input motor power to mix the fluid. The relation of the design parameter and performance of submersible mixer has been studied by comparing each flow analysis resolution of various design parameters such as the blade diameter, inlet angle, revolution speed. The influence of design parameter on submersible mixer has been investigated through the flow analysis for the various models because to the difference of the sweep direction of blades, chord length, and inlet blade angle. This study is helpful to design more effective submersible mixer.

The present study describes the effects of IGV(inlet guide vane) on the internal flow of the rotor blades of a transonic axial compressor. Numerical solutions of the governing RANS equations for the three dimensional turbulent flows inside the compressor have been obtained by utilizing the ANSYS CFX program. The assessment of the IGV performance has been made by analyzing the numerical solutions of compressor and flow characteristics such as isentropic efficiency, total pressure, static pressure, incidence angle, and Mach number.
