본 연구는 현재 운영되고 있는 실버타운의 입주자를 대상으로 실버타운 입주선택에 영향을 주는 요인을 조사, 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 지금보다 효율적인 실버타운 운영방안을 마련하고, 이에 따른 다양한 각종 서비스와 만족도, 입주자의 선택에 대한 개선 방안을 제시하는데 전반적인 연구의 목적을 두었다. 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실버타운의 운영의 실태를 알아보기 위해 표본에서 서비스품질과 고객만족, 입주선택의사의 수준을 분석한 결과 가장 평균이 높은 것은 반응성 요인이었다. 그 다음으로 높은 것이 유형성이었고, 이어 신뢰성, 확신성의 순이었으며 서비스 품질 중에서는 공감성이 평균이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 개인적 특성, 시설의 특성, 서비스 품질이 고객만족에 주는 영향과 개인적 특성, 시설의 특성, 서비스 품질이 고객만족을 매개로 입주선택에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 각 요인 중에서 상당수 변수들이 통계적으로 의미 있는 영향요인으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과들은 우리나라 실버타운의 조성 및 운영방식이나 규범적인 방향에 있어서, 그리고 향후 노인복지시설에 대한 관련 연구를 수행하는데 있어서 중요한 시사점을 던져주었다. This study was conducted to analyze the opinion researches among the silver town residents and referred to previous some reports relevant to the pre-performed studies to secure the theoretic ground as ways to accomplish the above goal. The main result of the study are as follows. First, most of the female respondents show positive attitude rather than male respondents. And, most of the respondents are aware of the silver town and the respondents wit higher income level show positive attitude towards silver town living. Second, the intention to live in the silver town was different to the demographic characteristics of the respondents. Respondents with higher income and non-traditional family value show stronger intention to live in the silver town. Third, the results of statistical tests demonstrate that three determinants(characteristics of silver town residents, characteristics of silver town facilities, characteristics of service quality) were important variables in determining the attitudes towards choice factors of silver town living. Fourth, as a result of conducting regression analysis for verifying the effective hypothesis on the recommending intension of living in the silver town of others of the satisfaction of general characteristic and its selecting factor. Result on the influence of determinants of living selection indicated that characteristics of silver town residents, characteristics of silver town facilities, characteristics of service quality had significant effect on live intention.

Emotional labor is the effort that you exert to separate yourself from a situation in order to get your work done. It refers to the process by which workers are expected to manage their feelings in accordance with organizationally defined rules and guidelines. The purpose of this study was to present a conceptualization of public servants`` emotional labor, and to examine the process and consequences of emotional labor in public service. This study reviews theory and research on emotional labor with a particular focus on its contributions to specific understandings of public servants and public services agencies. The main findings of this study are summarized as below. First, emotional labor of public servants really exist. Second, emotional labor has positive impact on their job-stress and emotional exhaustion. Third, emotional labor and its consequences have casual relationship in public service. In summary, the empirical result shows that the type of emotional labor depends on the type of consequences. Based on these results, valuable implications and strategies would be generated in order to reduce the negative effects of emotional labor in public sector.
