Nilaparvata lugens and Sogatella furcifera are insect pests that cannot overwinter in Korea, so they migrate from China and Southeast Asian countries every summer, causing damage to rice. Since it is impossible to care foreign control treatment, their resistance levels and even the flight of the planthoppers, diagnosis of resistance to insecticide is important for successful control. Therefore, this study evaluated the frequencies of mutations that is known to confer resistance to insecticides through the analysis of point mutations in AChEs, nAChR and GABA channel genes using collected the planthoppers from the west and southern coasts of Korea, 2020. As a result, F/Y330S, which is an AChE point mutation, occurred the most frequently in two planthopper species, and A301N, which is a GABA point mutation, was the most common in Sogatella furcifera.
야외집단 점박이응애에 대한 살비제 저항성 점 돌연변이 분석과 방제약제 선발

In this study, susceptibilies of two-spotted spider mite (Tetranychus urticae Koch) collected at 7 locations (Chilgok, CG; Gyeongju, GJ; Hongseong, HS; Seongju, SJ; Okcheon, OC; Pyeongtaek 1, PT1; Pyeongtaek 2, PT2) were assessed by 7 acaricides to confirm the resistance levels and 4 acaricides to select of alternative. As a result of the bioassay at the recommended concentration, etoxazole, fenpropathrin, pyridaben and pyflubumide showed less than 30% corrected mortality in eggs or adults of all populations. Abamectin, bifenazate and fenpyroximate showed a variety of corrected mortality of 3-70%. Also, we analyzed the resistance-associated point mutations by general sequencing. The abamectin resistance mutations (G314D and G326E) were found in PT1 and PT2 populations. The bifenazate resistance mutation (G126S) was identified in 5 populations except for HS and SJ populations. For fenpropathrin resistance point mutations (L1024V and A1215D), only A1215D was identified in the HS population. Etoxazole and pyridaben resistance point mutations were detected, but pyflubumide resistance mutation (I260V) were not found in all populations. As an alternative, we propose acynonapyr and fluxametamide as the control acaricides of these resistant populations in T. urticae.
