한강유역에 신라토기가 처음 유입되는 시기는 신라가 한강유역에 진출한 이후이므로 6세기 중엽경으로 볼 수 있다. 이 시기의 대표적인 기종으로는 고배, ‘?’형 개, 부가구연대부장경호 등이 있다. 이후, 인화문 토기가 확산되면서 점차 이전 시기의 기종이 사라지고 인화문이 시문되는 대부완과 ‘凸’형 개 그리고 다양한 형태의 병류가 나타나고 있다. 즉, 인화문의 등장으로 인해 기종의 전환이 이루어졌음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 기종의 변화가 이루어지는 7세기 후반을 중심으로 하여 2기로 나누었는데, 1기는 6세기 후반~7세기 후반, 2기는 7세기 후반~10세 초로 보았다.<BR> 시기별로 출토된 기종을 유적별로 살펴본 결과, 유적 또한 2기로 나누어 살펴볼 수 있었다. 1기에 해당되는 유적은 생활유적이 대부분이며 고분유적이 다음을 차지하였다. 생활유적은 모두 산성으로 신라의 북진과 통일을 하기위해 벌인 전쟁과 관련이 있다. 또, 이 시기에 해당되는 고분유적 인근에는 산성이 위치하는 특징을 보이고 있어 산성과 고분간의 축조집단에 대한 관련성을 찾을 수 있다.<BR> 2기에는 생산유적, 생활유적, 고분유적이 모두 나타나고 있다. 생활유적은 할미산성을 제외하고 1기의 유적이 그대로 사용된다. 이는 경덕왕대에 지방제도가 개편되면서 규모가 큰 산성은 군현 치소의 기능을 수행하였기 때문이다. 행정적 역할이 낮은 유적은 폐성되기도 한다. 또한, 주?군?현의 아래 자연촌이 편재되면서 토기를 만드는 전문집단이 조직되었다. 고분유적 또한 이 시기에 들어 부장유물 구성이 인화문토기로 바뀌었으며, 고분의 축조가 줄어들고 박장이 이루어진다. 이는 불교수용이후 화장이 성행하면서 사후세계 인식에도 변화가 있었던 것으로 판단된다. The first stage was the time when Shilla potteries were introduced in the Han River valley region and the representative types of the time were mounted dishes, half-spherical lids, long-necked jars with stands, and bottles. The residential relics were located in the passages to advance to North by Shilla and the tombs were located near the fortresses, which showed the correlation between the residential relics and the tombs.<BR> Around the Unification period, there appeared mounted bowls and convex lid. Accordingly, mounted dishes, half-spherical lids, and long-necked jars with stands disappeared. That is, there was change in type and patterns of dishes. The relics were newly found in northern valley region of the Han River. As the local administration system was reorganized in the middle of the 8th century, Esung Fortress, Daemo Fortress, Banwol Fortress, and Acha Fortress functioned as administrative places. Hoam Fortress which had low administrative role was abolished at that time. In the tombs at the 2rd stage, mounted bowls, convex-shaped lid, jars, and bottles were buried together. It means that mounted dishes, half-spherical lids, and long-necked jars with stands disappeared and there was change in the relics buried in the tombs as the potteries with stamped decoration produced. The construction of tombs decreased since cremation were mainly performed as Buddhism flourished.
