The purpose of this study was both to explore the current special education system and expect the vision of special education in Nepal. The aim of the NSEP is to make provision of education and training for all children with special needs in order to achieve their fullest possible social integration, full participation and individual development. The NSEP is largely a program approach, which has been given a due place in the national system of education. Disability is a global phenomenon; it needs concerted effort at the global front for a global action to fight against this global problem. The need is there to translate the ultimate goal of special needs education into a school for all and eventually, a society for all.
