      The need for software education has steadily increased over decades. Many educational organizations are trying to provide sufficient educational opportunities. Due to web-based learning system and automatic assessment system, it has become possible to support more and more students. On the other hand, practical test problems for the programming practice class are still made by instructors manually. Generating practical test problems is a labor demanding task and requires lots of time and effort to keep its quality. Although the remarkable researches are conducted in test data generation field, attempts to apply automated test data generation methods to practical test problem generation are hard to find. In this paper, the automated generation method for the practical test problem from mutant source codes is proposed to help instructors to keep their problem pool in large-scale with very little efforts.
