This study focused on baseball fan response to Cause-Related Marketing (CRM) message and effect of a pro-baseball team''s CRM on team image and team loyalty. In this study, 2X2 between subject factorial design controlled by ''team support'' and ''importance of CRM'' was employed. The data were collected through questionnaires and the subjects were university students who were baseball fans. Out of the 480 questionnaires distributed, 469 were collected and 402 were finally analyzed as completes. All the data were processed through SPSS for Windows 12.0 version and analyzed by factor analysis, Cronbach''s α test, independent samples t-test, paired samples t-test, correlation analysis, and regression. The results of the data analysis are as follows.First, in all the treated groups, team image and team loyalty were significantly increased after a CRM message was informed to them. Second, male respondents showed more positive attitude on CRM than female respondents. Third, according to this survey, respondents are likely to show more positive attitude on a CRM of a baseball team they support with a more important message. Fourth, the survey also showed that when a CRM message was conveyed to those who were not supporting the team, their team image and loyalty were likely to get improved significantly. Finally, it turned out that, when the respondents found a CRM actually helpful, they tended to have a better image of that team. Moreover, it turned out that the more they considered the intention of a CRM was pure, the higher their level of team loyalty was.
