    As a nuclear family has become trends in society, specialy couple with hearing disabilities family has appeared more than separation of family numbers. This study examines problems about parent with hearing disabilities of their childrens parenting and suggests on social support because parent with hearing disabilities who have children cannot solve certain matters for themselves, which may happen between deaf parents and their children. The following questions are the basis of this study:
    1. What is life style of deafness family and what problems do they have ?
    2. How do parents and children communicate each other ?
    3. How do deaf parents evaluate their family relationship ?
    This study is based on interviews of ninety people in sign language (Su Hwa), who have hearing disability and live in Suwon, Puchon, Seoul, Sungnam, Pusan, and Kimhae. The interviewees are selected by snowball sampling method.
    Data were analyzed by SPSS 7.5 and three analysers categorized unstructured questionnaires using context analysis method.
    The study shows that the most burdens of raising and educating their children as parent with hearing disabilities are educational difficulties, economical hardship, communication barrier, and psychological suffering. The examples of educational difficulties are teaching their children how to behave, helping them with school work, showing how to use language, and guiding their future etc. Children whose parents are hearing disabilities cannot understand sign language enough to communicate with their parents very well. In addition, parent with hearing disabilities feel inconvenient due to absence of interpreters in hospitals, governments, and schools. The fact that information is not accessible ta them also can be considered as problems on raising and educating their children. According to the results of family relationship measured by circumplex model on family function, there are many extreme families that need counseling because these families obviously show disengaged and rigid phenomenon. This study assures that involvement of social work approach is needed more than ever. This study, therefore, suggests followings:
    1. There should be interpreters for sign language in governments, schools, welfare centers, and hospitals etc.
    2. Specialization of welfare programs and distribution of communication technology are needed for parent with hearing disabilities and their family.
    3. Education in school for hearing disabilities should be changed so that their employment is not limited.
    4. Appropriate vocabulary of sign language should be coined for developing society.
    5. Social work approach should be needed for children education considering that their parents are hearing disabilities.
    Further research is recommended on the meaningful as foundation because there has not been a previous study on deaf parents.
    It is desirable that another studies based on this fundamental study be supplemented, which would be more specifically verified on hearing disabilities.
