사진단서를 이용한 자기 관리 중재가 정신지체 아동의 샌드위치 만들기에 미치는 효과 = (The) effect of self-management intervention through photo clue on the sandwich-making task performance of children with mental retardation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of self-management intervention through photo clue on the sandwich-making task performance of children with mental retardation.
The subjects in this study were three selected mentally retarded children in a kindergarten in the city of Cheonan. The experiment was conducted three times a week, and 27 sessions
The results of present study were as follows:
First, the self-management intervention by photo clue was effective on improving the task completion rate of sandwich-making of children with mental retardation. After the intervention began, all the children showed of lot of improvement. Their task performance rate was on the increase, owing to the self-management intervention by photo clue.
Second, their improved task performance rate continued to last even after the program was completed.
There were at least two limitation of this study.
First, this study results cannot be generalized to other children with different ages of mental retardation as young mentally retarded children who were less than 10 years old were examined.
Second, this study results cannot be generalized to other children with different degrees of mental retardation.
In relation to the above-mentioned findings, there are some suggestions:
First, more various method should be studied for mentally retarded children learn of life skills. The various method was considered of developmental level, individual character and behavioral characteristic.
Second, this study extended to other areas of life skills such as sliced radish kimchi of traditional food, cooked potherbs and vegetable soup end so on.
