    The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship among mother's nursing attitudes, children's creativity, and emotional intelligence as well as the relationship of the subelements.
    In order to attain the objective of the study, the following questions were made.
    The first question was made to find out the relationship between mother's nursing attitudes and children's creativity. The second question was made ta observe the relationship between mother's nursing attitudes and children's emotional intelligence. The third question was about the relationship between children's creativity and emotional intelligence.
    This study was done on 70 five-year-old children and their mothers in 5 kindergartens selected out of the 29 kindergartens in Kimposi, Gyeongkido. The study used 61 questionnaires that were collected back from the children and 61 questionnaires responded by the mothers. As for the analysis tools used in the study, the scale, which Hee-Young Cheon modified the parenting behavior scale used by Thomas and Chess, was used in order to analyze the parenting behaviors of the mothers. In order to analyze the creativity of the children, the Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking(TTCT) was used and for the emotional intelligence of the children, the emotional intelligence scale for teachers, which was developed by Kyung-Hwei Kim, was used. In order to verify the questions of the study, the collected data was analyzed through the SPSS/PC10.0, a statistic program for Windows. The pearson product-moment coefficient was calculated in order to figure out the relationship among mother's nursing attitudes, child's creativity, and emotional quotient as well as the relationship of the sub-elements.
    The followings show the summarized results of the study.
    When the first question that is about the correlation between mother's nursing attitudes and children's creativity was analyzed, the relationship between the total scores of mother's nursing attitudes and children's creativity was r=-.295 so the correlation showed to be significant at the significance level .05 and the correlation coefficient was negative.
    As for the correlation between subelements of mother's nursing attitudes and total score of children's creativity, the correlation between the locus of control and total score of children's creativity was r=.311 so it showed a significant correlation at the significance level .05.
    The correlation between the subelements of mother's nursing attitudes and children's creativity was looked into and the result showed that the correlation between locus of control and originality, which is a subelement of mother's nursing attitudes, was r=.256, and the correlation between locus of control and abstraction of title was r=.318 so it showed a significant positive(+) correlation.
    When the second question that is about the correlation between mother's nursing attitudes and children's emotional intelligence was analyzed, the correlation between the total scores of mother's nursing attitudes and children's emotional intelligence was r=-.164, showing a negative correlation. The correlation between total score of mother's attitude and subelements of children's emotional intelligence was not significant at the significant level .05.
    The correlation between subelements of mother's nursing attitudes and total score of the emotional intelligence resulted total score and soundness of r=-.303, showing a negative significant correlation.
    As for the correlation between mother's nursing attitudes and subelements of the emotional intelligence, the soundness had a significant correlation of r=.-274 with recognition and expression of self-emotion, and the correlation between soundness and relationship with teachers was r=-.382 so they all showed negative significant correlations.
    The last question about the correlation between children's creativity and emotional intelligence was looked into and the result showed that the correlation between total score of children's emotional intelligence and fluency which is one of the subelements of children's creativity was r=.264, showing a positive significant correlation.
    The correlation between subelements of child's emotional intelligence and general score of children's creativity was not significant at the significance level .05.
    After analyzing the correlation between children's creativity and subelemtns of children's emotional intelligence, it could be seen that the usage of self-emotion and originality had a positive correlation with the result, r=.283. The correlation of recognition and expression of self-emotion with elaborateness produced a result, r=-.307 showing a negative significant correlation. peer relationship and fluency showed a positive significant correlation with the result, r=.265. On the other hand, the peer relationship and elaborateness produced a negative correlation with the result, r=-.283.
