The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the types of school organization and the level of the teachers' creativity. To accomplish the purpose, the problem were as follows :
First, what is the proportion of the type of school organization and what s the difference among the variables of the schools?
Second, how do the teachers perform creativity according to their accomplishment for the jobs, and is there any difference with it according to the school variables and individual variables?
Third, how do the teachers perform their creativity in various ways according to the types of school organization?
To accomplish the purpose, questionnaires were used to classify the types of school organization and to measure the teachers' creativity.
The questionnaires were administered to 420 teachers selected randomly from 20 middle and high schools in northern part of Kyounggi Province.
The data were collected from 417 teachers and analyzed to get Mean(M) and Standard Deviation(SD) of each variable by using SPCC/PC.
The t test and the F test were used to verify the differences between each variable at 5%, 1%, and 0.1% level of significance.
The conclusions of this study were as follows.
First, most secondary school organizations were identified as the Ideal type which is emphasized on both professionalism and bureaucracy.
Second, the level of the secondary school teachers creativity was generally neither high nor low.
Third, the teachers' creativity was shown the highest level in the Ideal type of secondary school organization while it was shown the lowest level in the Chaotic type of secondary school organization.
