색채를 이용한 대상의 표현 연구 = (A) study on the expression the object using color

국문 초록 (Abstract)

세잔과 쇠라는 색에 자율적인 위상을 부여 하였고, 반 고흐, 고갱 그리고 마티스는 자연에서 그림의 형태와 모티브를 빌려 색을 사용하는데 있어 무척이나 자유로 왔다. 20C에 접어들면서 모방의 전통적 기능에서 벗어난 색채는 칸딘스키와 몬드리안의 자율적인 언어로 바뀌면서 색의 자유를 보장 받게 되었다. 즉 우리는 색의 역할이 자연(대상)과의 종속관계에서 추상화를 그릴 수 있는 자율적인 언어로 변형된 과정을 그림을 통해서 보아왔다. 이런 색채의 역할 변화가 나에게 유혹을 던졌고 특히, 내가 갖고 있는 색채에 대한 관심이 여기서 비롯된 것이라 하겠다. 색채는 감정이나 사상을 표현하고 전달하는 수단으로 간주되기 때문에 형태나 선등과 같은 다른 조형 요소들과 결합시켜 한 화면 안에 어떻게 결합하여 조화를 이루는가 하는 예술의 형식적인 측면을 강조하고 있다. 그래서 언제부터인가 나는 자연의 형태에서 색으로 눈을 돌리기 시작했다.
본 논문의 목적은 기존의 형식적인 형태위주(사실적 표현양식)의 수업에서 벗어나 새로운 형식의 조형수업으로서 교육현장에서 학생들을 지도하는 교사나 학원 강사들에게 색채의 중요성에 대한 이해를 돕고자 기초 자료를 제시하는 것에 있다. 대상의 재현이나 현실묘사를 정확히 해야만 잘 그린 그림, 좋은 그림 이라는 기존 편협 된 생각에서 인간의 감각에 호소하며 나름대로의 법칙에서 일어나는 작용을 보이는 독립된 요소로서의 색채위주의 그림을 알려야 한다. 이제 색채는 대상에 예속되어 그 성질을 설명하는 부가적인 기능에서 해방 되었다. 따라서 색채에 대한 폭넓은 이해를 미술교육을 통해 올바르게 배운다면 보다 효율적인 생활을 영위함과 동시에 쾌적한 환경을 조성하는데도 큰 역할을 하게 될 것이다.
그러나 이런 색채의 중요성에도 불구하고 우리 미술 교육에서의 색채학습은 디자인영역 수업이거나 암기위주의 색채 이론수업으로 되어 있다. 그래서 본 논문에서 이런 색채수업의 어려움과 개선점에 대한 해결 방안으로 모색하고자 한다. 위의 목적에 따라 다음과 같이 진행되었다.
서론에서는 색채 수업연구의 필요성과 목적 및 문제점을 제시했다.
본론에서는 색채의 의미와 영향, 색과 마음의 상관관계로서 색채심리에 대해서 밝히고 있다. 그리고 현재 학교에서 이뤄지고 있는 미술 교육 중에서 특히 색채 학습단원의 내용체계를 학년별, 교과서별로 분석하고 현행 색채 수업의 내용과 방법의 문제점을 파악하여 새로운 색채 수업 프로그램을 모색하고자 했다.
결론으로는 색채수업의 실험결과와 본인 스스로 결과에 대한 반성 및 의견을 서술하고 앞으로 지속적인 연구과제와 방향을 남기었다.
본 연구결과는 다음과 같았다.
첫째, 교육과정의 변화와 학년별 미술교과 학습목표에 따라 학교 실정에 맞는 색채 수업 지도 방법을 고안하고 형태의 모방에서 해방된 회화수업형태를 갖추게 되었다.
둘째, 미술수업을 항상 귀찮아하고 싫어했던 학생들도 어디서나 얻을 수 있는 재료를 가지고 손쉽게 조형작업을 함으로서 새로운 수업형태에 흥미를 느낀 것으로 나타났고 기존의 미술수업보다 효과적 이였다.
셋째, 색채에 대한 관심이 자연스럽게 생겨나 무엇을 그렸나보다 자신의 감정에 의해 어떤 색이 쓰여 졌는지, 어떻게 표현했는지, 색채 표현의 재미를 인지하는 것으로 나타났다.
넷째, 색채는 더 이상 디자인 영역에서 지도되는 것이 아니라 미술전반에 걸쳐 지도 되어야 하고, 이런 수업 연구 결과 창의적인 표현과 독창 적인 표현에 많은 도움을 줄 수 있었다. 또한 색채를 이용해 대상을 표현하는 방법의 무한한 가능성에 대해서도 알게 되었다.
마지막으로 그림을 그리는 본연의 자세에서 출발해 학생들의 그림을 조사하고 색채 수업연구를 시작한 것은 본인에게 있어 좋은 경험이었다. 실기를 통해 색을 사용하면서 색채와 심리관계를 실감했을 뿐만 아니라 실천적인 방법으로 이어서 시도하는 입장이 될 수 있었기 때문이다. 생활속에서 넘쳐나는 색은 우리 모두에게 생동감을 느끼라는 힌트라고 생각한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Paul Cezanne and Georges Seurat applied the color of voluntary status, by the way Vincent Van Gogh , Gauguin Paul and Matisse Henri borrowed the basic frame of pictures and motives from the nature with using natural colors, it was so comfortable to look over it, also gave more freedom of works. Coming into the 20 centuries, the Color which was tried to remove the imitation levels used in the traditional ways, has changed into the Wassily Kandinsky and Piet Mondrian's voluntary languages, therefore they have become guaranteed the freedom of the Color. That is to say, the key role of the Color has transformed subordinated relationship between the nature and the object into the processing of turning the voluntary language as expressed on the Painting Arts, it allows to draw the abstract paintings. This kind of transformation of roles in the Color intrigued my curiosity, specially my interest on the Color has just started from this point. The Color is regarded as the communication method of expressing feeling, emotion and thought, so if the Color elements combine with the line elements like other artistic factors, it is getting increasing the importance of how to harmony with other elements in the formal way of artistic viewpoint. Therefore, I do not exactly when, but I have started to focus the natural type color's condition.
The aim of this study is to provide the opportunity to keep out of the normal track of formalization-focused Art Classes, bringing out the new formation of Art Formalization Model Class to make the teachers who are at the site of educations with students and academic lecturers, understand more importance of the Color by showing the basic help data. Trying to get out of the stereotype concept on good painting and well-drawn painting models such as reappearance of the Object and well-described reality is needed to be break down, it is better to recommend claims for the human emotion from the Art Painting, so Art Painting must be treated as the independent elements of the Color which is able to open the possibility of inspiring picture from the fundamentals of applying the Art painting. So, when the broad understanding of the Color is added with properly applied Art Education, it will be definitely taking the important roles in living the effective life at same time with setting up the well-qualified clean environments.
Although this importance of the Color is enough emphasized, current Art Education is only focusing on the Design-based class or Memory-based Art Technique class with practical approaches toward the Art without applying classes on the importance of the Color application. So this study is covering the difficulties of applying the Colors study and revise viewpoint to issue out the alternative solutions for today's Art Education. From those aims, the following procedures are like this.
From the Beginning, I make issue out on the needs of the Color study, aim and problem. On the Middle section, I make clear the meaning of the color and influences and the Color Psychology between the Color and the Mind with connected relation. And among the Art Education which is performed in the actual today's school, I analyze the Study on the Colors by the contents, by the Class level, by the reference book to figure out the current problems of schooling contents and methods. Then let's think about the new alternative Color Schooling Program.
In conclusion, I illustrate the testing results of the Color studies and Self- tested results with adding the Reviews and Comments Opinions. So I suggest the future road of the Color Study with long terms for remaining the stepping out points and directions. On this study, the Out-coming results are like those below.
First, According to changing of the Education schooling program and depending on the Study Guide on the each Art Schooling text by the studying aim, school administration is required to revise lecturing methods to apply the Color Study to fit on the nowadays condition of the schooling environment. Get set the Drawing Schooling formation without imitation of the Art.
Second, performing the easily accessible materials for continuing the modeling drawing classes is to open the student's mind who thinks the Art Education as boring and annoying, making those students have the interests and focuses on the Art Education, it is proven that much more effective schooling methods finally turned out.
Third, Students voluntarily are getting the interests on the Colors so they show the high focuses not on what it is drawn but on what kinds of the color are applied by the drawer's emotion and how it is expressed. They start to realize the enjoyment of expressing the Color Presentation.
Fourth, Color is no longer limited on the Design Criteria but to cover the overall area of Art Education for Schooling. Based on this study, the results show that it helps on the works over the Creative Art Working Area and Unique Originality of expression and presentation. Also when it comes to use the color by expressing the objects, this situation gives the big picture of unlimited possibilities of Art Creation and Originality.
Finally, approaching the whole study materials and researches from the viewpoint of artists who draw the pictures, I am pleased to get this kind of precious experiences to analyze the students' paintings and study the color schooling material in-between relationship. From the practical applying to draw picture, I realize the crucial points between the Color and the Psychology using colors, also find the procedure of action plan practically. I think the Color is the Hint of life to fully supply the live energy from the overflowing uses of using color to make feel everybody happy and enjoyment.
