The purpose of this study is to present bibliotherapy program which can be applied to classroom management and to pursue the positive application of the plan for classroom management through bibliotherapy by describing the process ofbibliotherapy in classroom management.
For this study, 35 students of class A of the first grade were selected from girls' vocational high school located in 'K' metropolitian city. The survey had been carried out from March to July, the first semester in the year 2004.
The results of the study can be described as follows.
First, teachers need to understand the meaning and process of bibliotherapy.
Second, bibliotherapy program in classroom management should be developed.
Third, reading environment should be formed through classroom library within each classroom.
Finally, school libraries should constantly support bibliotherapy program for the active classroom management.
From the results of this study, methods to actualize bibliotherapy in classroom management could be found. This bibliotherapy program has been proved to help adolescents improve their mental health, keep off problem behaviors and treat them for themselves. Based on these results, bibliotherapy should be actualized and put into practice for students' whole growth by actively applying to each school.
