직업전문학교 학생들의 요구에 관한 연구 = (A) study on the needs of students at the vocational training institute

The purpose of this study is to investigate the improvement plans through needs of students at the vocational education training curriculum. In this study a system approach was applied and the improvement plans through needs of students at the vocational education training curriculum was designed. The followings were the main research questions explored in this study. 1. Are there any differences in both students'' Career Planning of vocational training institute and students'' personal characteristics, such as gender, training institute, etc? 2. Are there any differences in both students'' recognition Level of vocational training institute and students'' personal characteristics, such as major, training institute, etc? 3. Are there any differences in both students'' Satisfaction Level of vocational training institute and students'' personal characteristics, such as major, training institute, etc? 4. Which of the characteristic factors has the bigger consequence on the development of vocational training institute? The data were gathered through several questionnaires. In order to analyze the data, several statistical techniques, such as frequency, chi-square test, t-test, ANOVA, etc. The results of this study would be summarized as follow: There was not a statistically significant difference in students'' admission motive of vocational training institute by students'' gender(χ2=10.99, p>.05), a statistically significant difference in students'' admission motive of vocational training institute by students'' training institute(χ2=65.98, p<.05). There was a statistically significant difference in students'' Career Planning of vacational training institute by students'' gender(χ2=18.02, p<.05), and a statistically significant difference in students'' Career Planning of vocational training institute by students'' training institute(χ2=119.05, p<.05). There was a statistically significant difference in students'' recognition Level of vocational training institute by students'' personal characteristics. There was a statistically significant difference in students'' Satisfaction Level of vocational training institute by students'' personal characteristics. In conclusion, skilled-learned students should be given a preferential treatment not by the word, but by institution. By doing so, we can accomplish economic activity through balanced manpower distribution and naturally advise right vocational view and course guidance to skilled-learned students.
