齒科衛生士의 業務 스트레스와 關聯要因 = Job stress of dental hygienists and its related factors

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The research, which was to identify the degree of job stress of dental hygienists and its related factors. It was carried out by consensus survey through 435 dental hygienists working in the dental clinics, dental hospitals, and public health center in Daegu metropolitan city from December 1, 2003 to February 29, 2004.
The degree of self-feeling stress was much feel 46.7 percent, and there were higher when reserved character. Also, there were higher meaningful in the degree of self-feeling stress was when a great number of staff, when overtime working hours, when has the experiance of transfer of duty post, when low satisfaction, and when has turnover intention.
The degree of dental hygienist's job stress was moderate as 3.38 point, it comparer with 6 point Likert-type scale. 'Not to be compensation', 'The conflict with relationship', The role conflict as a professions dental hygienists among 14 job related stress factors were 3 ones of highest ranks. There were higher meaningful in the job stress score was when an unmarried person, when a great number of staff, when not division of labor, when low satisfaction, and when has turnover intention.
In conclusion, the degree of dental hygienists job stress was moderate in Daegu area. There were job stress related factors in the marital status, number of staff, working hours, division of labor, satisfaction, and turnover intention. This result may help to concrete plan a strategy for dental hygienists in either helping adapt to job stress or reducing it effectively.
