NIE를 통한 창의성 프로그램 개발 및 적용 효과 = On the development of creativity programs and the effects of their application through NIE

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 신문을 활용하여 개발한 NIE프로그램의 적용이 유아의 창의적인 사고력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 밝히는데 그 목적이 있다.
이상의 연구 목적을 가지고 설정한 연구 문제는 다음과 같다.
1. NIE 프로그램은 유아의 창의성 발달에 영향을 미치는가?
2. NIE 프로그램은 유아의 척도별 창의성에 영향을 미치는가?
3. NIE 프로그램은 유아의 영역별 창의성에 영향을 미치는가?
4. NIE 프로그램을 통한 유아의 창의성은 성별에 따라 차이가 있는가?
이를 위해 본 연구는 강원도 철원군에 위치한 A, B유치원의 만 5세 원아 46명을 실험집단과 비교집단으로 나누어 실험집단(A) 25명의 유아에게는 NIE프로그램을 활용한 수업을 진행하였고, 비교집단(B) 21명 유아에게는 유치원 교육과정에 따른 수업을 진행하였다. 두 집단은 동일한 주제 아래 5월 3일부터 7월 9일까지 총 10주 동안 진행되었다.
연구대상 유아의 창의성 발달정도를 알아보기 위해 전경원이 개발한 유아용 종합 창의성 검사를 활용하여 실험집단과 비교집단 모두 사전·사후 검사를 개별적으로 실시하였다.
연구결과 처리는 실험집단과 비교집단간의 사전·사후 창의성 검사 결과를 t검증하였다. 실험집단과 비교집단의 남아와 여아 4집단의 성별차이를 검증하기 위해 ANOVA를 실시하였고, 각 집단별로 남아와 여아의 성별차이를 검증하기 위해 t검증을 실시하여 그 결과를 분석하였다.
본 연구에서 밝혀진 NIE 프로그램이 유아의 창의성에 미치는 영향에 대한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, NIE 프로그램은 유아의 창의성을 증진시키는데 있어 교육적인 효과가 있었으며, NIE를 활용한 실험집단과 비교집단간에는 유아의 창의성 발달에 유의미한 차이가 있었다.
둘째, NIE 프로그램은 창의성의 하위요인인 척도별 창의성에 있어서 실험집단이 비교집단보다 창의성을 증진시키는데 효과가 있었다.
실험집단과 비교집단간에는 척도별 창의성의 하위요인인 유창성, 융통성, 독창성, 상상력 발달에 모두 유의미한 차이를 가져왔다.
셋째, NIE 프로그램은 창의성의 하위요인인 영역별 창의성에 있어서 실험집단이 비교집단보다 창의성을 증진시키는데 효과가 있었다.
NIE 프로그램을 활용한 실험집단이 비교집단이 비해 영역별 창의성의 하위요소인 언어, 도형, 신체 영역에서 신체적으로 점수가 높았으며, 두 집단간에 유의미한 차이가 있었다.
넷째, NIE 프로그램을 활용한 실험집단이 비교집단에 비해 점수는 높았으나 성별간의 효과는 척도별 창의성 영역인 상상력을 제외하곤 남아와 여아간의 유의미한 차이는 없었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to identify the influence of the NIE(Newspapers in education) on young children's creative thinking power. For this purpose, I developed the creativity program with the newspaper in order to make it adaption on the young children.
The main research questions are as follows :
1. Will there be any effect the NIE program on young children's creativity?
2. Will there be any effect NIE program in the measured creativity?
① Will there be any effect in the fluency?
② Will there be any effect in the flexibility?
③ Will there be any effect in the originality?
④ Will there be any effect in the imagination?
3. Will there be any effect NIE program in the domain creativity?
① Will there be any effect in the linguistic creativity?
② Will there be any effect in the diagrammatic creativity?
4. Will there be any different effect from the NIE program in the depending on the gender?
The subject of the study were 46 children of age 5 who were attending at young children's institution of learning in Chul-Won. They were classified into two groups, 25 children for experimental group and 21 children for control group.
NIE program was applied to the experimental group and control group were followed the fifth kindergarten curriculum. To test of the effect of experimental treatment pre/post tests in the Integral Creativity Testing was administered to the two groups. An individual interview method is applied for the test implementation. The collected data were analyzed by t-test & ANOVA.
The result of this study were summarized as follows :
1. NIE program was more effective for heightening the level of children's creative thinking power.
2. The results of this study is that in general the educational effect of the experimental group is more efficient than that of the control group in developing creative power. The under elements when it is divided into the measured creativity and domain creativity is ;
1) Measured Creativity
It shows that the educational effect of the experimental group is more efficient than that of the control group. the under elements, When it comes to the measured creativity, shows that in the fluency, flexibility, originality, and imagination the educational effect of the experimental group is more efficient than that of the control group.
2) Domain Creativity
It shows that the educational effect of the experimental group is more efficient than that of the control group. the under elements, When it comes to the measured creativity, shows that in the diagrammatic, linguistic and bodily creativity the educational effect of the experimental group is more efficient than that of the control group.
3. In sex, the children of the experimental group with NIE program service revealed more creative thinking power better than that of the control group. Boys in the Experiment groups had higher points and girls in comparative groups however there was no difference in sex between the to groups.
