댐환경을 활용한 지역환경교육프로그램의 개발과 적용 : 합천댐 상류 거창 지역을 중심으로 = (The) Development and application of local environmental education program utilizing a dam environment : focusing on the upper zone of Hap cheon dam (Geo chang)

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 지역의 댐 환경을 활용하여 지역 환경교육 프로그램을 개발하고 학생들에게 이를 적용하여 지역 환경교육 내실화의 도모를 목적으로 하였다.
이를 위해 Hungerford의 환경교육 프로그램 설계모형을 기초로 하여 지역환경교육프로그램을 구안하고, 내용은 댐 환경이 지역에 미치는 영향 중에서 학생들이 일상생활에서 접할 수 있으며 체험할 수 있는 긍정적인 영향과 부정적인 영향을 4개 주제로 하여 구성하였다. 토론, 조사·관찰, 실험·실습, 가치탐구, 표현·게임 등의 자주적 교수 학습 활동을 통해 댐 환경보전을 위한 활동전략의 의사를 결정하고, 이에 적합한 활동기능을 습득하여 가정, 지역사회 및 각자의 생활 속에서 환경보전에 참여하고 실천하도록 하였다.
지역환경교육프로그램을 적용한 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 학생들은 환경일반에 대한 관심도에서 지역환경문제와 환경일반에 대한 관심과 흥미가 증대되었고, 환경보존활동에 참여하는 자세에 긍정적인 영향을 받았다.
둘째, 환경보전 실천태도부문에서 학생들은 댐환경보전활동을 위하여 쓰레기 분리수거와 합성세제의 사용을 줄이는 실천활동을 통해 합천댐의 수질오염방지를 위한 의지를 드러내었다.
셋째, 학생들은 합천댐 유역의 수질 오염 방지를 위해 학교와 사회환경교육단체가 연계된 여러 가지 다각적인 대책과 행동을 요구하게 되었다.
넷째, 학생들은 지역환경교육프로그램을 적용 후 지역환경보전을 위한 시민환경프로그램에 대한 참여의지를 검증한 결과 지역환경문제의 개선을 위한 실천적 환경보전 의지가 증대된 것으로 분석되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The goal of this research is to develop a local environmental education program utilizing a local dam facility and to applicate the students it, to set up the substantiality of local environmental education.
We think osist iut this environmental education program based on Hungerford's project, which conn 4 subjects. They are good and bad influences of dam environment which students can experience easily in daily life.
We let students decide which is a favorable strategy for preserving a dam facility well through volunteering activities, for example, discussion, search and observation, test, study of value, presentation and game. And We encourage them to take part in environmental preservation and practice what they learn everyday in a home and community.
The following is the outcomes of teaching this environmental education program:
First, students are much more interested in local and general environmental problems than before and participate in conservation workings voluntarily.
Two, students, now, reveal their willingness for the prevention of water pollution in Hap Cheon Dam by collecting garbage separately and reducing synthetic detergent use.
Third, students become to demand some measures in which schools link with citizens groups for the prevention of water pollution in Hap Cheon Dam.
Fourth, students are approved to have bigger willingness to make the local environment better.
