생활주제 중심 인터넷 탐색활동이 유아의 사회·정서 발달에 미치는 영향 = (The) Effect of theme-oriented internet searching activities on young children's social and emotional development

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 생활주제 중심 인터넷 탐색활동이 유아의 사회·정서발달에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴봄으로써 유치원에서 인터넷의 바람직한 활용방안을 모색해 보는데 있다.
위와 같은 목적에 따라 설정된 연구문제는 다음과 같다.
1. 생활주제 중심 인터넷 탐색활동이 유아의 사회·정서 발달에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가?
1-1 생활주제 중심 인터넷 탐색활동이 유아의 교사에의 비의존성에 영향을 미치는가?
1-2 생활주제 중심 인터넷 탐색활동이 유아의 내적 통제에 영향을 미치는가?
1-3 생활주제 중심 인터넷 탐색활동이 유아의 동료와의 상호작용에 영향을 미치는가?
1-4 생활주제 중심 인터넷 탐색활동이 유아의 유치원에서의 안정감에 영향을 미치는가?
1-5 생활주제 중심 인터넷 탐색활동이 유아의 성취동기에 영향을 미치는가?
1-6 생활주제 중심 인터넷 탐색활동이 유아의 호기심에 영향을 미치는가?
연구대상은 충청북도 진천군에 소재한 2개 초등학교병설유치원에 재원중인 만 5세 유아 30명(남 14명, 여 16명)이었다. 대상 유아의 연령분포는 5년 3개월에서 6년 2개월이었으며, 평균연령은 5년 4개월이었다.
연구도구는 한국행동과학연구소(허형 외, 1978)에서 개발한 유아의 사회·정서 발달 평정척도를 이기숙, 이은해(1983)가 수정한 도구(문미옥, 1988)를 사용하였다.
연구 문제를 검증하기 위하여 두 집단 유아들의 사전검사와 사후검사에서 얻은 사회·정서 발달 검사 점수의 차를 구한 후 집단별 평균 증가분에 대한 t검증을 실시하였다.
본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
생활주제 중심 인터넷 탐색활동은 유아의 사회·정서 발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
첫째, 생활주제 중심 인터넷 탐색활동은 유아의 교사에의 비의존성에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다.
둘째, 생활주제 중심 인터넷 탐색활동은 유아의 내적통제에 긍정적인 영향을 미치지 않는다.
셋째, 생활주제 중심 인터넷 탐색활동은 유아의 동료와의 상호작용에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다.
넷째, 생활주제 중심 인터넷 탐색활동은 유아의 유치원에서의 안정감에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다.
다섯째, 생활주제 중심 인터넷 탐색활동은 유아의 성취동기에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다.
여섯째, 생활주제 중심 인터넷 탐색활동은 유아의 호기심에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다.
이상의 결과를 종합해 볼 때, 생활주제 중심 인터넷 탐색활동이 유아의 사회·정서 발달을 증진시킨다는 것을 알 수 있다. 따라서 생활주제를 중심으로 한 인터넷 탐색활동은 유아의 사회·정서 발달을 증진시키는데 바람직하게 활용될 수 있으리라 생각된다.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of Theme-Oriented Internet Searching Activities on young children's Social and Emotional Development
The research question of this study was as follows;
1. How does the Theme-Oriented Internet Searching Activities affect young children's Social and Emotional Development?
1-1. Does the Theme-Oriented Internet Searching Activities affect young children's independence to a teacher?
1-2. Does the Theme-Oriented Internet Searching Activities affect young children's internal control?
1-3. Does the Theme-Oriented Internet Searching Activities affect young children's interaction with peers?
1-4. Does the Theme-Oriented Internet Searching Activities affect young children's sense of security in Kindergarten?
1-5. Does the Theme-Oriented Internet Searching Activities affect young children's achievement motivation?
1-6. Does the Theme-Oriented Internet Searching Activities affect young children's curiosity?
The subjects of this study were 30 young children(boys 14, girls 16) of five years old who belong to two elementary school annexed Kindergarten which is located in Jin-cheon in the Chung-buk province. The age ranges of the subjects were between 5 years 3 months and 6 years 2 months and the average age was 5 years 4 months.
The instrument that was used for this study is the Mun's(1988) Rating Scale for Young Children's Social and Emotional Development, a revised version of Korean Institute for Research in the Behavioral Science'(1978)Scale.
In order to understand the effect of which Theme-Oriented Internet Searching Activities affect young children's Social and Emotional Development, the t-test was put into operation. The data gained from the research was analyzed using a SPSS 10.0 computer program.
The results of study are as follows.
Theme-Oriented Internet Searching Activities positively influenced young children's Social and Emotional Development.
First, Theme-Oriented Internet Searching Activities positively didn't influence young children's independence of teacher.
Second, Theme-Oriented Internet Searching Activities influenced young children's internal control.
Third, Theme-Oriented Internet Searching Activities positively influenced young children's interaction with peers.
Fourth, Theme-Oriented Internet Searching Activities positively influenced young children's sense of security in Kindergarten.
Fifth, Theme-Oriented Internet Searching Activities positively influenced young children's achievement motivation.
Sixth, Theme-Oriented Internet Searching Activities positively influenced young children's curiosity.
The results shows that young children's Social and Emotional Development is improved through Theme-Oriented Internet Searching Activities. So Theme-Oriented Internet Searching Activities are of practical use which improve young children's Social and Emotional Development.
