명화감상이 유아의 미술능력에 미치는 영향 = (The) effects of masterpiece appreciation on young children's art abilities

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of masterpiece appreciation on the development of young children's art abilities. To reach this purpose the following research questions were investigated in this study.
1. Is there the effect of children's art activities according to the experience of the masterpiece appreciation?
2. Is there the effect of children's expression of art according to the masterpiece appreciation?
3. Is there the effect of children's masterpiece appreciation according to the masterpiece appreciation?
The subjects were selected at random from two classes of J kindergarten in Sun chun.
The experimental group was tested on expression activities after appreciating masterpiece during eight weeks, while the control group had no art appreciation activities and worked on traditional art expression which is generally done in kindergarten.
Both the experimental and control group did pretest and post test about artistic process, art appreciation, and art expression, which are were an art evaluation test developed by Schirrmacher (1993) and modified by Jeong Mee Kyung(1999).
All Data were analyzed by using SPSS(Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) and The results of this study were as follows :
1. Art appreciation activities on masterpiece improved the children's artistic process in the experimental group more than control group.
2. Art appreciation activities on masterpiece improved the children's expression of arts in the experimental group more than the control group.
3. Art appreciation activities on masterpiece did not effect the children's masterpiece appreciation both the experimental and the control group.
