    The purpose of this study was to investigate effects of psychodrama by quantitative and qualitative methods. The subjects of this study was total 26 adults ; one experimental group is 13 adults, one control group is 13 adults.
    In quantitative study, Moreno Social Atom Projective Test(MSAPT), Multidemensional Scale of Perceived Social Support(MSPSS), Self-Esteem Scale(SES), Yalom's Therapeutic Fator Scale(YTF) were administered to evaluate of the effects of this study.
    The results of the quantitative study were as follows:
    First, In MSAPT, the experimental group had a significant difference on size among scale of social atom between pre-test and post-test. And average of conflict and reciprocity among scale mean of social atom has decreased remarkably but had no significant difference.
    Second, The experimental group had no significant difference on satisfaction scale Social Support among MSPSS between pre-test and post-test.
    Third, The experimental group had no significant difference on self-esteem between pre-test and post-test on.
    Fourth, Yalom's Therapeutic Factors were ranked as identify with counselor, altruism, existential factor, group coherence, family reorganization, instillation of hope, identify with a group, counselor's advice, self-understanding, catharsis, universality, learning of personal relationship, member's advice.
    In qualitative study, existential-phenomenological interview was administered to 11 participants who experienced as protagonist. The recorded interview material were summarized into exhaustive description and essential structure, and categorized into themes based on Colaizzi method.
    The results of the qualitative study were as follows:
    The analysis result of interview material, the 20 common themes were found and these were summarized into the process of before, during, and after the psychodrama as follows.
    The protagonists reported a sense of urgency, fearfulness from body and sense before psychodrama. And they had expectations and curiosities about their protagonist role. They were wondered that they did a good gob. In addition, they hoped to identify their problem and understand and feel easy to other members during their protagonist's role.
    In the middle of the psychodrama, they experienced strong energy spoutings, physical burnouts and delightful feelings. During the psychodrama, they were exciting and had anger emotions and then got to understand other members.
    After the psychodrama, they reported physical burnouts, feeling of exhaustion, and comfort and they felt free emotionally. In other to say, they experienced catharsis. And they had positive thoughts through clarification and understanding of other, experienced to expect rational-problem solving.
