    For graphic designer, Approaching methods which solved the design problem are divided to subjective aspect and objective aspect. but similiar to most of design area about approaching methods, designer's subjective decision is more common rather than reasonable researches. For adjusting this problem, we need reasonable tools which estimates the problems and effects.
    And so, what is the reference of beauty in nature? Le Corbusier said that "Nature is ruled by mathmatics". This sentence means that although we can investigate the problem superficailly to uncertain and choatic thing, it has an regular discipline in their nature.
    At this point, existence of beauty is in range of nature and so, it has also their own cosmos and system. Since the ancient time, human being wanted to find these cosmos and system of beauty and finally they found the hidden fact that beauty of nature has a n proportional system.
    To take close looks through the arts of ancient greece, rome, and renessance to the Classics, they had an their own 'proportion' commonly. More concisely, they had the proportion and the assignment. In particular, at the age of ancient greece, many artists had proved that many ancient greek pices had the their own proportional system for expressing the art pieces. For these reasons, proportion had been annouced most important parameter to expressing the beauty.
    Through the history of proportion, human being had set the principle of proportion using geometry (irrational system) in certain time and also used calculus (rational system) In fact, it is more convenient t o deginer using the rational system. but it has a limit that this system can restricted the posotive relationship fo system and space effect and may confine the desiner's creatives conclusively. So this study aimed to find the objective how geometric proportional concept which may be a rational reference will be applied to graphic design.
